Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A support disc ( 3 ) for expendable pad ( 4 ) for polishing machine ( 1 ), comprising a raised peripheral edge ( 12 ).

       2 . The support disc ( 3 ) according to the claim 1 , further comprising a self-centring lower central neck ( 7 ) suitable for being coupled with a central hole ( 8 ) of the pad ( 4 ).

       3 . The support disc ( 3 ) according to the claim 1 , wherein the edge ( 12 ) is angled at between 10° and 15° with respect to the flat portion ( 30 ) of the disc ( 3 ) for a pad with hardness between 22 and 26 Sh.

       4 . The support disc ( 3 ) according to the claim 1 , wherein the edge ( 12 ) is angled at between 15° and 30° with respect to the flat portion ( 30 ) of the disc ( 3 ) for a pad with hardness between 18 and 22 Sh.

5 . The support disc ( 3 ) according to the claim 1 , characterised in that wherein the edge ( 12 ) is angled at between 30° and 50° with respect to the flat portion ( 30 ) of the disc ( 3 ) for a pad with hardness between 12 and 18 Sh.

       6 . The support disc ( 3 ) according to claim 1 wherein the edge ( 12 ) is angled at between 45° and 60° with respect to the flat portion ( 30 ) of the disc ( 3 ) for polishing machine ( 1 ) for working faceways.
