A wipe for cleaning a surface is disclosed that includes a working surface that is a single unitary web including a plurality of peaks each separated from one another by a plurality of valleys. The valleys connect in a rectilinear array. The wipe further comprises an adhesive at the working surface of each valley. The working surface of each peak is substantially free of adhesive.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A wipe for cleaning a surface comprising:
a working surface that is a single unitary web including a plurality of peaks each separated from one another by a plurality of valleys, wherein the valleys connect in a rectilinear array; an adhesive at the working surface of each valley, wherein the working surface of each peak is substantially free of adhesive.

2 . The wipe of claim 1 , wherein the valleys continuously extends from a first edge of the working surface to a second edge of the working surface.

3 . The wipe of claim 1 , wherein each peak has sloping side surfaces.

4 . The wipe of claim 1 , wherein the peaks extend from a first side of the working surface and a open pocket is formed opposite the peaks at a second side of the working surface.

5 . The wipe of claim 1 , wherein the peaks in a first row are off-set from the peaks in a second, adjacent row.

6 . The wipe of claim 5 , wherein the peaks in a first row and adjacent second row are sized to create a continuous blocking area from a first edge of the working surface to a second edge of the working surface.

7 . The wipe of claim 1 , further comprising:
a backing member secured to a second side of the working surface, opposite a first surface of the working surface having the peaks.
