Apparatus for containing liquid chemicals

Abstract

An apparatus for containing liquid chemicals includes a dual chamber container and at least one covering member. The dual chamber container includes a base, a neck portion, and a pair of chambers configured between the base and the neck portion. Each chamber of the pair of chambers is adapted to contain a liquid chemical. Each covering member is capable of being detachably attached to the neck portion for covering an opening of a chamber of the pair of chambers. The each covering member includes a body member and an attachment means disposed on an inner surface of the body member. The attachment means is capable of detachably attaching the inner surface of the body member to the neck portion of the dual chamber container for covering of the opening the chamber of the pair of chambers.

1 . An apparatus for containing liquid chemicals, the apparatus comprising:
 a dual chamber container comprising a base, a neck portion, and a pair of chambers configured between the base and the neck portion, each chamber of the pair of chambers adapted to contain a liquid chemical, the each chamber of the pair of chambers having an opening at the neck portion; and   at least one covering member, each covering member of the at least one covering member capable of covering the opening of a chamber of the pair of chambers, the each covering member comprising
 a body member having an inner surface and an outer surface, and 
 an attachment means disposed on the inner surface of the body member, the attachment means capable of detachably attaching the inner surface of the body member to the neck portion of the dual chamber container for covering the opening of the chamber of the pair of chambers.

The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the each covering member further comprises a gripping member protruding from the body member, the gripping member adapted to detach the attachment means from the neck portion for uncovering the opening of the chamber upon application of a lateral force away from the neck portion on the gripping member. 
   
   
       3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the attachment means is a layer of adhesive capable of detachably attaching the inner surface of the body member to the neck portion. 
   
   
       4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the body member and the gripping member of the each covering member are composed of a plastic material. 
   
   
       5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the body member and the gripping member of the each covering member are composed of an aluminum material. 
   
   
       6 . A covering member for a dual chamber container, the dual chamber container comprising a base, a neck portion, and a pair of chambers configured between the base and the neck portion, each chamber of the pair of chambers adapted to contain a liquid chemical, the each chamber of the pair chambers having an opening at the neck portion, the covering member comprising:
 a body member having an inner surface and an outer surface; and   an attachment means disposed on the inner surface of the body member, the attachment means capable of detachably attaching the inner surface of the body member to the neck portion of the dual chamber container for covering the opening of a chamber of the pair of chambers.   
   
   
       7 . The covering member of  claim 6 , further comprising a gripping member protruding from the body member, the gripping member adapted to detach the attachment means from the neck portion for uncovering the opening of the chamber upon application of a lateral force away from the neck portion on the gripping member.
