Abstract
Disclosed is a system and a method for ordering food using RFID, which includes the steps of: a) reading tag information from at least one of tags matched to each of multiple products of a menu by using a mobile terminal having a built-in RFID module or an RFID external module; b) accessing a main server through a URL corresponding to the tag information and receiving product information corresponding to the tag information from the main server to the mobile terminal; c) filling out the number of the products and transmitting an order request message to the main server by the mobile terminal; d) receiving the order request message and performing a payment according to the order; and e) transmitting an order item to a kitchen server by a Point of Sales (POS) server connected to the main server if the payment is completed.

i) reading tag information corresponding to one of tags matched to each of multiple products of a menu by using a mobile terminal having a built-in RFID module or an RFID external module; and ii) accessing a main server through a URL corresponding to the tag information by the mobile terminal and receiving product information corresponding to the tag information from the main server to the mobile terminal.
2 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein step i) comprises a step of i-1) receiving and storing the URL according to a request of the URL of the main server corresponding to the tag information through a communication network by the mobile terminal reading the tag information.
3 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the product information includes at least one of a product price, ingredients used in the product, a place of origin, and total calories, if the product is food.
4 . A method for ordering product using RFID, comprising the steps of:
a) reading, tag information from at least one of tags matched to each of multiple products of a menu by using a mobile terminal having a built-in RFID module or an RFID external module; b) accessing a main server through a URL corresponding to the tag information and receiving product information corresponding to the tag information from the main server to the mobile terminal; c) filling out the number of the products and transmitting an order request message to the main server by the mobile terminal; d) receiving the order request message and performing a payment according to the order; and e) transmitting an order item to a kitchen server by a Point of Sales (POS) server connected to the main server if the payment is completed.

The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein step a) comprises a step of receiving and storing the URL according to a request of the URL of the main terminal corresponding to the tag information from the main server through a communication network by the mobile terminal reading the tag information.
6 . The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein step d) comprises the steps of:
transmitting a payment amount according to the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal by the main server if the mobile terminal selects a phone bill a phone bill of a payment amount being added on the charge of the mobile terminal in a payment methods list received from the main server; receiving a message informing the payment amount being registered from the accounting server and assigning an order number to the order item by the main server; and transmitting the order item, the order number, and a phone number of the mobile terminal to the POS server.
7 . The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein step d) comprises the steps of:
transmitting the order number corresponding to the order item together with the order item to the POS server and the mobile terminal if the mobile terminal selects a cash payment in the payment methods list received from the main server; and registering payment completion information to the POS server and the main server as a user of the mobile terminal received the order number makes a payment with the cash.
8 . The method as claimed in claim 4 , wherein step d) further comprises the steps of:
d-31) inquiring whether a card payment history of the mobile terminal is stored if the mobile terminal selects a card payment in the payment methods list received from the main server; d-32) reading information of the card, identifying the user, and performing the payment if the card payment history is stored according to a result of the inquiry; and d-33) transmitting the order item and a phone number of the mobile terminal to the POS server.
9 . The method as claimed in claim 8 , wherein step d) further comprises the steps of:
inputting the information of the card on a payment screen of the mobile terminal if the card payment history is not stored in step d-31) or if the user wants to make the payment with another card in step d-32); and authorizing the card by a credit card company server.
10 . The method as claimed in claim 4 , further comprising a step of listing up the order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, managing them in total, and transmitting an order list to the kitchen server by the POS server.
11 . The method as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising a step of informing the mobile terminal of a change from an order waiting state to an order completion state if the kitchen server selects one in the order list.
12 . The method as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the mobile terminal transmits a message requesting the cancel or change of the order item to the POS server before the kitchen server transmits the order completion state to the mobile terminal.
13 . The method as claimed in claim 12 , wherein the product information includes at least one of a price of the product, a place of origin, ingredients used in the product, and total calories, if the product is food.
14 . The method as claimed in claim 13 , wherein step c) comprises the steps of:
transmitting a message inquiring an additional order to the mobile terminal by the main server; and transmitting a WAP page according to a request of the additional order to the mobile terminal if the request of the additional order is received from the mobile terminal.
15 . A method for ordering product using RFID, comprising the steps of:
1) accessing a main server through a communication network, selecting a menu item, and performing a payment so as to complete an order by a mobile terminal; 2) transmitting tag information and location information to the main server by the mobile terminal; 3) calculating an expected arrival time based on the location information and authorizing a user based on the tag information by the main server; 4) transmitting information on the order, the expected arrival time, and the tag information to a Point Of Sales (POS) server if the authorization of the user is completed; and 5) reading the tag information stored in the mobile terminal through an RFID reader connected to the POS server, comparing the tag information provided from the main server with the tag information read from the mobile terminal by the POS server, and authorizing if the tag information corresponds to each other.
16 . The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 15 , wherein step 1) comprises the steps of:
transmitting a payment amount of the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal by the main server when the mobile terminal selects a phone bill of a payment amount being added on a charge of the mobile terminal in the payment methods list received from the main server; receiving a message informing the payment amount being registered from the accounting server and assigning the order number to the order item by the main server; and transmitting the order item, the order number, a phone number of the mobile terminal to the POS server.
17 . The method for ordering product using REID as claimed in claim 15 , wherein step 1) further comprises the steps of:
1-1) inquiring whether a card payment history of the mobile terminal is stored if the mobile terminal selects the card payment in the payment methods list received from the main server; and 1-2) reading the card information, identifying a user, and performing the payment if the card payment history is stored according to a result of the inquiry.
18 . The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 17 , wherein step 1) further comprises the steps of:
inputting information of another card on a payment screen of the mobile terminal if the card payment history is not stored in step 1-1) or if the user wants to make the payment with another card in step 1-2); and authorizing the card from a credit card company server.

The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 15 , further comprising a step of listing up the order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, managing them in total, and transmitting an order list to the kitchen server by the POS server.
20 . The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 19 , further comprising a step of informing the mobile terminal of a change from an order waiting state to an order completion state if the kitchen server selects one in the order list.

The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 20 , wherein, when the mobile terminal receives a message requesting the cancel or change of the order item, the POS server determines whether the order completion state is transmitted to the mobile terminal, and if not, the POS server changes the order item and transmits the change to the kitchen server.
22 . A system for ordering product using RFID, comprising:
a main server for storing and managing product information corresponding to tag information of an RFID so as to provide it to the mobile terminal, performing a payment according to a product order of the mobile terminal, and transmitting a payment result to a POS server; and the POS server for transmitting order information according to the payment result received from the main server to a kitchen server.
23 . The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 22 , wherein the POS server lists up an order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, manages them in total, and transmits an order list to the kitchen server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 22 , further comprising the kitchen server for adding with an order waiting state item to the order list received from the POS server and displaying it, changing the order waiting state item to an order completion item when the ordered product is completed, and transmitting a guide message informing the order completion of the product to the POS server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 22 , wherein, if the mobile terminal requests a payment of a payment amount being added on the charge of the mobile terminal in a payment methods list, the main server transmits a payment amount according to the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal, and if the main server receives a message informing the registration of the payment amount from the accounting server of the mobile terminal, the main server assigns an order number to the order item and transmits the order item, the order number, and a phone number of the mobile terminal to the POS server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 22 , wherein, when a request of a cash payment in the payment methods list is received from the mobile terminal, the main server transmits the order number corresponding to the order item together with the order item to the POS server and the mobile terminal, and then transmits payment completion information to the POS server when the payment completion information is received as the user of the mobile terminal makes the payment with the cash.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 22 , wherein, when a card payment in the payment methods list is received from the mobile terminal, the main server inquires whether a card payment history of the mobile terminal is stored, and if the card payment history is stored, the main server reads the information of the card, identifies the user, and performs the payment.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 27 , wherein if the card payment history is not stored or if the user wants to make the payment with another card, the main server provides a WAP page for inputting information of another card on a payment screen of the mobile terminal and authorizes the card while being connected to a credit card company server.
29 . A system for ordering product using RFID, comprising:
a main server for providing a mobile terminal accessed through a communication network with a menu, providing a payment screen according to selecting a menu item, calculating an expected arrival time based on location information received from the mobile terminal, authorizing a user based on tag information; transmitting information on the order, the expected arrival time, and the tag information to a POS server if the user authorization is completed; and the POS server for receiving the tag information stored in the mobile terminal read through an RFID reader, comparing the tag information provided from the main server with the tag information read from the mobile terminal so as to determine the authorization.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 29 , wherein, when the mobile terminal requests a payment of a payment amount being added on the charge of the mobile terminal in a payment methods list, the main server transmits a payment amount according to an order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal, and when the main server receives a message informing the registration of the payment amount from the accounting server, the main server assigns an order number to the order item and transmits the order item, the order number, and a phone number of the mobile terminal to the POS server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 29 , wherein, if a card payment in the payment methods list is requested from the mobile terminal, the main server inquires whether a card payment history of the mobile terminal is stored, and if the card payment history is stored, the main server reads the information of the card, identifies the user, and performs the payment.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 31 , wherein, if the card payment history is not stored or if the user wants to make the payment with another card, the main server provides a WAP page for inputting information of another card on a payment screen of the mobile terminal and authorizes the card while being connected to a credit card company server.
33 . The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 29 , wherein the POS server lists up an order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, manages them in total, and transmits an order list to a kitchen server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 33 , further comprising the kitchen server for adding an order waiting state item to the order list received from the POS server and displaying it, changing the order waiting state item to an order completion item if the ordered product is completed, and transmitting a guide message informing the order completion of the product to the POS server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 34 , wherein, if the mobile terminal receives a message requesting a cancel or change of the order item, the POS server determines whether the order completion state is transmitted to the mobile terminal, and if not, the POS server changes the order item and transmits the change to the kitchen server.
36 . A method for remotely ordering product using RFID, comprising the steps of:
a) driving an application for a remote order by a mobile terminal and transmitting its location information to a main server; b) displaying a menu item and a franchised restaurants list corresponding to the location information when a menu item provided by the application is selected; c) displaying location information of the franchised restaurant on the mobile terminal when the mobile terminal selects the franchised restaurant in the franchised restaurants list; d) transmitting subscriber information stored in an RFID tag of the mobile terminal and the order item to a POS terminal through the main server when a payment request message for the menu item is transmitted to the mobile terminal and the payment is completed; and e) reading, by the POS terminal, the subscriber information from the RFID tag, comparing it with subscriber information stored in the POS terminal, and if the subscriber information corresponds to each other, displaying an accept message for providing a product corresponding to the order item on the POS terminal.
37 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 36 , wherein step C) comprises the steps of:
c-1) displaying sub-menu items corresponding to the franchised restaurant if one of the franchised restaurants is selected; and c-2) transmitting the payment request message to the mobile terminal if one of the sub-menu items is selected.
38 . The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 36 , wherein the subscriber information comprises at least one of a Mobile Identification Number (MIN) and Mobile Directory Number (MDN) of the mobile terminal.

The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 36 , wherein step d) comprises a step of calculating, by the main server, an expected arrival time based on location information of the mobile terminal and the franchised restaurant and transmitting the calculated expected arrival time to the POS terminal when the payment is completed.
40 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 39 , wherein step d) further comprises the steps of:
d-1) selecting a phone bill of a payment amount being added on a charge of the mobile terminal in payment methods included in the payment request message by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item; and d-2) transmitting a payment amount according to the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal by the main server.
41 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 39 , wherein step d) further comprises the steps of:
d-a) selecting a card payment in the payment methods included in the payment request message by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item; and d-b) reading information of the card if the card payment history is stored in the mobile terminal.
42 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 41 , wherein step d) further comprises the steps of:
d-c) inputting information of another card on a payment screen of the mobile terminal if the card payment history is not stored or if the user wants to make the payment with another card; and d-d) authorizing the card from a credit card company server.
43 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 39 , wherein step c) further comprises the steps of:
displaying the location information of the franchised restaurant as a map on the screen of the mobile terminal; and providing a route from the location of the mobile terminal to the franchised restaurant if the mobile terminal requests a road guide service.
44 . The method for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 43 , wherein prior to step a) comprises a step of downloading an application from the main server by the mobile terminal.

The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 44 , further comprising a step of receiving, by the main server, a preparation complete message of the product corresponding to the menu item from the POS terminal and transmitting the preparation complete message to the mobile terminal.
46 . A method for remotely ordering product using RFID, comprising the steps of:
i) driving an application for a remote order and selecting a menu item by a mobile terminal; ii) performing a payment on the menu item by a main server receiving information on selection of the menu item and a franchised restaurant; iii) receiving, by the main server, location information of the mobile terminal from a location positioning server and providing the location information to the mobile terminal, and displaying a franchised restaurants list corresponding to the location information on the mobile terminal; iv) displaying the location information of the franchised restaurant on the mobile terminal if the mobile terminal selects the franchised restaurants in the franchised restaurants list; v) transmitting, by the main server, subscriber information stored in an RFID tag of the mobile terminal and the order item to a POS terminal; and vi) reading the subscriber information from the RFID tag, comparing it with the subscriber information stored in the POS terminal, and displaying a result of the comparison on the POS terminal by the POS terminal.

The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 46 , wherein the main server calculates an expected arrival time based on the location information of the mobile terminal and the franchised restaurant if the payment is completed, so as to transmit the calculated expected arrival time to the POS terminal.
48 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 47 , wherein the subscriber information comprises at least one of a Mobile Identification Number (MIN) and Mobile Directory Number (MDN) of the mobile terminal.
49 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 46 , wherein step ii) comprises the steps of:
ii-1) selecting, by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item, a phone bill of a payment amount being added on a charge of the mobile terminal in payment methods included in the payment request message; and ii-2) transmitting a payment amount according to the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal by the main server.
50 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 46 , wherein step ii) further comprises the steps of:
ii-a) selecting a card payment in the payment methods included in the payment request message by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item; and ii-b) reading information of the card if a card payment history is stored in the mobile terminal.
51 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 50 , wherein step ii) further comprises the steps of:
ii-c) inputting information of another card on a payment screen of the mobile terminal if the card payment history is not stored or the user wants to make the payment with another card; and ii-d) authorizing the card from a credit card company server.
52 . A system for remotely ordering product using RFID, comprising:
a mobile terminal for driving an application for a remote order, displaying a menu and a franchised restaurants list, displaying location information of the franchised restaurant corresponding to current location information if a payment according to a selected menu item is performed, and including subscriber information stored in an 121-ID tag; a main server for providing the mobile terminal with a WAP page for performing the payment, obtaining location information of the mobile terminal if the main server fails to receive the location information from the mobile terminal, and providing the mobile terminal with the obtained location information; and a POS terminal of a franchised restaurant for receiving subscriber information and an order item received from the mobile terminal completing the payment through the main server, reading the subscriber information from an RP III tag of the mobile terminal, comparing the read subscriber information with subscriber information stored in the POS terminal, and displaying a result of the comparison.

The system for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 52 , wherein the main server calculates an expected arrival time based on the location information of the mobile terminal and the franchised restaurant if the payment is completed, so as to transmit the calculated expected arrival time to the POS terminal.
54 . The system for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 52 , wherein the POS terminal transmits a preparation complete message corresponding to a product of the menu item to the mobile terminal.

The system for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 54 , wherein the main server displays location information of the franchised restaurant as a map on the screen of the mobile terminal and provides a route from the location of the mobile terminal to the franchised restaurant if the mobile terminal requests a road guide service.
56 . The method as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the product information includes at least one of a product price, ingredients used in the product, a place of origin, and total calories, if the product is food.
57 . The method as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising a step of listing up the order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, managing them in total, and transmitting an order list to the kitchen server by the POS server.
58 . The method as claim in claim 6 , further comprising a step of listing up the order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, managing them in total, and transmitting an order list to the kitchen server by the POS server.
59 . The method as claimed in claim 7 , further comprising a step of listing up the order item ordered through the mobile terminal and an OFF-Line terminal in a time sequence of the payment completion, managing them in total, and transmitting an order list to the kitchen server by the POS server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 24 , wherein, if the mobile terminal requests a payment of a payment amount being added on the charge of the mobile terminal in a payment methods list, the main server transmits a payment amount according to the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal, and if the main server receives a message informing the registration of the payment amount from the accounting server of the mobile terminal, the main server assigns an order number to the order item and transmits the order item, the order number, and a phone number of the mobile terminal to the POS server.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 23 , wherein, when a request of a cash payment in the payment methods list is received from the mobile terminal, the main server transmits the order number corresponding to the order item together with the order item to the POS server and the mobile terminal, and then transmits payment completion information to the POS server when the payment completion information is received as the user of the mobile terminal makes the payment with the cash.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 24 , wherein, when a request of a cash payment in the payment methods list is received from the mobile terminal, the main server transmits the order number corresponding to the order item together with the order item to the POS server and the mobile terminal, and then transmits payment completion information to the POS server when the payment completion information is received as the user of the mobile terminal makes the payment with the cash.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 23 , wherein, when a card payment in the payment methods list is received from the mobile terminal, the main server inquires whether a card payment history of the mobile terminal is stored, and if the card payment history is stored, the main server reads the information of the card, identifies the user, and performs the payment.

The system for ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 24 , wherein, when a card payment in the payment methods list is received from the mobile terminal, the main server inquires whether a card payment history of the mobile terminal is stored, and if the card payment history is stored, the main server reads the information of the card, identifies the user, and performs the payment.

77 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 48 , wherein step ii) comprises the steps of:
ii-1) selecting, by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item, a phone bill of a payment amount being added on a charge of the mobile terminal in payment methods included in the payment request message; and ii-2) transmitting a payment amount according to the order item to an accounting server of the mobile terminal by the main server.
78 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 47 , wherein step ii) further comprises the steps of:
ii-a) selecting a card payment in the payment methods included in the payment request message by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item; and ii-b) reading information of the card if a card payment history is stored in the mobile terminal.
79 . The method for remotely ordering product using RFID as claimed in claim 48 , wherein step ii) further comprises the steps of:
ii-a) selecting a card payment in the payment methods included in the payment request message by the mobile terminal receiving the payment request message for the menu item; and ii-b) reading information of the card if a card payment history is stored in the mobile terminal.
