Hat liner

Abstract

The Hat Liner is an adjustable, one-size-fits-all synthetic fabric liner to be worn beneath any hat or cap, and thus protect the hat or cap from the perspiration the hat or cap would otherwise absorb. The Hat Liner is reusable and disposable, such that the user wears it as many times as he wished, then either launder the Hat Liner in any washing machine, or simply discard the used Hat Liner and start again with a fresh one. The Hat Liner is produced in a polyester or other fabric, and is configured to cover the wearer's head in the manner of a skullcap.

1 . A liner for a cap comprising synthetic or natural absorbent material or fabric configured in the shape of the inside of a baseball cap, and wherein a multiplicity of hook and loop tabs are affixed to the outside perimeter of the liner and the inside rim of the cap so as to removably engage with each other and hold the liner in place inside the cap. 
   
   
       2 . The liner for a cap of claim of  claim 1  wherein the absorbent material is cotton. 
   
   
       3 . The liner for a cap of  claim 1  wherein the absorbent material is polyester. 
   
   
       4 . The liner for a cap of  claim 1  wherein the absorbent material is cellulose. 
   
   
       5 . A liner for a visor comprising synthetic or natural absorbent material or fabric configured in the shape of a ring to match the inside of the visor, and wherein a multiplicity of hook and loop tabs are affixed to the outside perimeter of the liner and the inside rim of the visor so as to removably engage with each other and hold the liner in place inside the visor. 
   
   
       6 . The liner for a visor of claim of  claim 5  wherein the absorbent material is cotton. 
   
   
       7 . The liner for a visor of  claim 5  wherein the absorbent material is polyester. 
   
   
       8 . The liner for a visor of  claim 5  wherein the absorbent material is cellulose.
