Abstract
The invention relates to a drive roller ( 1 ), in particular for edge trimmers, in particular for use in the production of metal sheets and in particular in the area of plate or hot strip production, comprising a hub part ( 2 ), which is provided with a journal, and a running roller ( 4 ), which can be connected to the journal, wherein the running roller is formed with one or more channels for guiding a cooling fluid.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A driving roll ( 1 ), especially for edge trimmers, especially for use in the production of plate or strip, and in this regard, especially in the heavy plate range or in the hot rolled strip range, with a hub part ( 2 ) that is provided with a journal and with a running roller ( 4 ) that can be joined with the journal, wherein the running roller is designed with a channel or several channels for conveying a cooling fluid.
2 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the running roller ( 4 ) has a plurality of channels ( 13 ) arranged parallel to the surface ( 4 a ) of the running roller.
3 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with claim 2 , wherein the channels ( 13 ) have a star-shaped orientation or are uniformly distributed on the circumference of the running roller.
4 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with claim 1 , claim 2 , or claim 3 , wherein a fluid can be supplied to or removed from the channels by means of connecting channels, such that the connecting channels have an essentially radial or star-shaped orientation.
5 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with claim 1 , claim 2 , claim 3 , or claim 4 , wherein first connecting channels and second connecting channels are provided, such that the first and second connecting channels are connected by essentially annular channels.
6 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with claim 5 , wherein the essentially annular channels are formed in the hub part and/or in the running roller in the boundary region between the hub part and the running roller.
7 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with any of the preceding claims, wherein the journal is mounted in a bearing housing, and the bearing housing also has fluid channels for cooling by means of a fluid.
8 . A driving roll ( 1 ) in accordance with any of the preceding claims, wherein the fluid channels of the running roller are in fluid connection with the fluid channels of the bearing housing.
9 . A driving roll installation with at least two driving rolls according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the driving rolls for edge trimmers are arranged in the run-in and/or runout region of the edge trimmers in such a way that they are positioned above and/or below a hot strip or plate to be received between them.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
