Abstract
A coating system compositions is disclosed. The composition comprises: (a) about 40% to 50% wt. water; (b) about 8% to 15% wt. resin; (c) about 10% to 25% wt. pigmented dispersion; (d) about 3% to 25% wt. opacifier; (e) about 3% to 6% wt. solvent; and (f) about 0.5 to 4% wt. coating agent.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A coating material comprising:
a. about 8 to 15% wt., relative to the total composition, of resin; b. pigment; c. water; and d. opacifier; where the coating material is configured to be resistant to rain when adhered to a glass substrate or to a plastic substrate but can be wiped off of the substrates by hand using a towel wet with water or a slightly basic aqueous solution.
2 . The coating material of claim 1 , where the resin is an acrylic/latex resin.
3 . The coating material of claim 1 , where the coating material includes about 10 to 25% wt., relative to the total composition, of pigment.
4 . The coating material of claim 1 , where the coating material includes about 40 to 50% wt., relative to the total composition, of water.
5 . The coating material of claim 1 , further comprising about 3 to 25% wt., relative to the total composition, opacifier.
6 . The coating material of claim 1 , where the opacifier is titanium dioxide.
7 . The coating material of claim 1 , further comprising about 3 to 6% wt., relative to the total composition, of solvent.
8 . The coating material of claim 7 , where the solvent is propylene glycol.
9 . The coating material of claim 1 , further comprising about 0.5 to 4% wt., relative to the total composition, of coating agent.
10 . The coating material of claim 9 , where the coating agent is polypropylene glycol.
11 . A coating device comprising:
a container that includes a sponge applicator; and a coating material positioned in the container, the coating material comprising:
a. about 8 to 15% wt., relative to the total composition, of resin;
b. pigment;
c. water; and
d. opacifier;
where the coating material is configured to be resistant to rain when adhered to a glass substrate or to a plastic substrate but can be wiped off of the substrates by hand using a towel wet with water or a slightly basic aqueous solution.
12 . The coating device of claim 11 , where the resin of the coating material is an acrylic/latex resin.
13 . The coating device of claim 11 , where the coating material includes about 10 to 25% wt., relative to the total composition, of pigment.
14 . The coating device of claim 34 , where the coating material includes about 40 to 50% wt., relative to the total composition, of water.
15 . The coating device of claim 11 , where the coating material further comprises about 3 to 25% wt., relative to the total composition, opacifier.
16 . The coating device of claim 11 , where the opacifier of the coating material is titanium dioxide.
17 . The coating device of claim 11 , where the coating material further comprising about 3 to 6% wt., relative to the total composition, of solvent.
18 . The coating device of claim 17 , where the solvent of the coating material is propylene glycol.
19 . The coating device of claim 11 , where the coating material further comprises about 0.5 to 4% wt., relative to the total composition, of coating agent.
20 . The coating device of claim 19 , where the coating agent is polypropylene glycol.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
