Abstract

The present invention relates to wallboards particularly for damp rooms, which boards have a steam-resistant layer which prevents penetration of steam. The boards are particularly suitable for covering with tiles and are prefabricated in such a manner that they are easy to set up and to adapt to existing damp room structures according to general existing standards.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
- 25 . (canceled)

. A wallboard for placement on stanchions or other supports of walls, floors and ceilings in damp rooms for preventing damp air from moving from the damp room into the structure surrounding the damp room, the board comprising an extruded or expanded polystyrene board with a covering layer on at least one side, the covering layer comprising fibre reinforcement and a layer of a strengthening material, and further comprising a steam-proof layer forming a steam barrier, said steam-proof layer being applied over the entire length of the board.

. The wallboard of claim 26 , wherein the steam-proof layer comprises a primer which is applied over the entire length of the board between the polystyrene board and the external strengthening material.

. The wallboard of claim 26 , wherein the steam-proof layer comprises of an aluminium foil which covers the entire length of the board between the polystyrene board and the external strengthening material, or on the outside of the strengthening material.

. The wallboard of claim 26 , wherein the steam-proof layer comprises a primer which is applied over the entire length of the board on the outside of the external strengthening material.

. The wallboard of claim 26 , wherein the steam-proof layer comprises of a primer which is applied over the entire length of the board by the external strengthening material and the primer being mixed and applied in one operation.

. A wallboard according to claim 26 , wherein the strengthening material is a material selected from the group of a hardening epoxy mixture and a cement-based mixture.

. A wallboard according to any one of claim 26 , wherein the fibre reinforcement is a material selected from the group of a fibre cloth, fibres included in the strengthening material, and glass fibre.

. A wallboard according to claim 27 , wherein the strengthening material is a material selected from the group of a hardening epoxy mixture and a cement-based mixture.

. A wallboard according to claim 27 , wherein the fibre reinforcement is a material selected from the group of a fibre cloth, fibres included in the strengthening material, and glass fibre.

. A wallboard according to claim 28 , wherein the strengthening material is a material selected from the group of a hardening epoxy mixture and a cement-based mixture.

. A wallboard according to claim 28 , wherein the fibre reinforcement is a material selected from the group of a fibre cloth, fibres included in the strengthening material, and glass fibre.

. A wallboard according to claim 29 , wherein the strengthening material is a material selected from the group of a hardening epoxy mixture and a cement-based mixture.

. A wallboard according to claim 29 , wherein the fibre reinforcement is a material selected from the group of a fibre cloth, fibres included in the strengthening material, and glass fibre.

. A wallboard according to claim 30 , wherein the strengthening material is a material selected from the group of a hardening epoxy mixture and a cement-based mixture.

. A wallboard according to claim 30 , wherein the fibre reinforcement is a material selected from the group of a fibre cloth, fibres included in the strengthening material, and glass fibre.

. A wallboard according to claim 28 , wherein the aluminium foil is affixed to the wallboard by glue.
