Therapeutic rest bed
Abstract
Therapeutic rest bed, which comprises a bed base ( 2 ) of which the beechwood slats ( 12 ) are connected to the frame in movable groups of two or three slats, depending on the areas of the body to which they correspond, by means of pivot pieces ( 13 ), shock-absorbing supports ( 17 ), height-adjustable supports ( 22 ) and arm rests ( 29 ), a mattress ( 3 ) made from 100% natural latex with holes ( 30 ) and a sheet ( 31 ) of coconut fibre; a mattress cover ( 4 ) with an organic-carbon mesh ( 32 ) connected to a wire ( 33 ) acting as earth, a mattress topper ( 5 ) that has another organic-carbon mesh ( 35 ), a blanket ( 6 ) with a merino-wool cover ( 8 ) with a heat-regulating effect, and a pillow ( 7 ) also made from 100% natural latex.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A therapeutic rest bed comprising
a bed base having a head portion, a shoulder portion, a back portion, a lumbar portion and a leg and feet portion; a mattress made from 100% natural latex and comprising a plurality of holes with different diameters and a sheet of natural coconut fibre on its lower face; a mattress cover comprising a first organic-carbon mesh which is connected to an outer wire provided at its end with an electrically conductive element; a mattress topper comprising a second organic-carbon mesh; a blanket made from merino sheep wool; a pillow made from 100% natural latex and comprising a plurality of holes with different diameters; a pillow cover made with merino sheep wool;
the bed base comprising
an outer frame with bevelled corners;
an inner frame having a front and a rear portion,
a group (A) of individual slats assembled directly to the inner frame in the head portion of the bed base three by three by means of natural rubber pivot pieces;
a group (B) of individual slats assembled directly to the inner frame in the shoulder portion of the bead base by means of natural rubber pivot pieces coupled to shock-absorbing supports;
a group (C) of individual slats assembled directly to the inner frame in the back portion of the bead base two by two or as double slats by means of natural rubber pivot pieces;
a group (D) of individual slats assembled directly to the inner frame in the lumbar portion of the bead base by means of rubber pivot pieces coupled to height-adjustable supports; and
a group (E) of individual slats assembled directly to the inner frame in the leg and feet portion of the bead base by means of natural rubber pivot pieces;
the natural rubber pivot pieces comprising assembly holes; and the blanket, the pillow cover and the mattress topper further comprising a padding made with merino sheep wool, which provides a heat-regulating effect to the rest bed.
2 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the front portion and a the rear portion are foldable with respect to the outer frame.
3 . The therapeutic rest bed according to of claim 2 , wherein the ends of the front and rear portions of the inner frame are linked to the ends of the outer frame by manually actuatable scissor mechanisms with an adjustable tilt.
4 . The therapeutic rest bed according to of claim 1 , wherein the slats are attached to the inner frame in movable groups of two or three slats.
5 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the pivot pieces further comprise two or three housings for the slats, and intermediate portions.
6 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the shock-absorbing supports comprise a support piece with lugs on its rear for anchoring the support piece to the inner frame, and a movable, fixed to said support piece by inner springs, on which there are lugs suitable for receiving the assembly holes in of the pivot pieces of slats of groups A, B, D or E.
7 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the height-adjustable supports comprise
a support piece with lugs at its rear part for fixing it to the inner frame, a vertical movement piece with front lugs suitable for receiving the assembly holes provided in the pivot pieces of the slats of group C, and wherein the adjustment of the height-adjustable supports is performed through an operating screw accessible through the upper hole.
8 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the slats are wood slats.
9 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 8 , wherein the wood slats are beechwood slats.
10 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the mattress cover is made from cotton.
11 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the holes are distributed depending on the part of the body occupying it.
12 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the outer wire acts as an earth connection.
13 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the electrically conductive element is a copper ball.
14 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 4 , wherein the slats are coupled in different ways depending on the different areas of the body to which they correspond by different elements.
16 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the inner frame is articulated.
17 . The therapeutic rest bed of claim 1 , wherein the slats form an adaptable support of the bed base.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
