Abstract

The present invention provides a method of polyubiquitinating a nucleophosmin comprised of reacting the nucleophosmin in vitro or in vivo with BRCA1-BARD1. The present invention also provides a method of inhibiting polyubiquitination of nucleophosmin comprised of phosphorylating BARD1 using CDK2-cyclin E and/or CDK2-cyclin A.
