Textile device for body protection
Abstract
The invention relates to a textile device for body protection, that comprises at least one knitted elastic structure including several meshes formed by at least one yarn, the device further including a pad made of a material that is elastic at least according to its thickness, the pad being assembled with said knitted structure. The pad extends along a face of the knitted structure, and some meshes of the knitted structure extending inside the pad and are trapped by the elastic material of the pad, thus forming a composite assembly, characterised in that a portion of the pad is located outside the knitted structure.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A textile device for body protection, comprising a knitted elastic structure comprising several meshes formed of at least one yarn, the device further comprising a pad made of elastic material at least according to its thickness, said pad being assembled with said knitted structure, wherein the pad extends along a face of the knitted structure and in that certain meshes of the knitted structure pass through the interior of said pad and are trapped by said elastic material of the pad thus forming a composite assembly and in that a portion of the pad is arranged outside of the knitted structure.
2 . The textile device set forth in claim 1 , wherein the elastic material of the pad has a capacity of elongation at break greater than a capacity of elongation at break of the knitted structure.
3 . The textile device set forth in claim 2 , wherein the capacity of elongation at break of the elastic material of the pad is at least two times greater than the capacity of elongation at break of the knitted structure.
4 . The textile device as set forth in any of the preceding claims, wherein the composite assembly formed by the elastic material of the pad and by meshes of the structure extends over one portion only of the thickness of said knitted structure, the latter further comprising a face opposite the face along which extends the pad, and the opposite face being free of elastic material of the pad.
5 . The textile device as set forth in any of claims 1 to 4 , wherein the knitted structure forms a sock.
6 . The textile device as set forth in any of claims 1 to 4 , wherein the knitted structure forms an annular band.
7 . The textile device set forth in claim 5 , wherein the pad extends along a kicking area of the sock and inside this sock.
8 . The textile device as set forth in any of the preceding claims, wherein the pad comprises multiple perforations which cross through the pad, the perforations extending substantially perpendicularly to the face of the knitted structure according to which extends the pad.
9 . The textile device as set forth in any of the preceding claims, wherein the textile device comprises several pads each having the shape of a band, said pads being separated one in relation to the other by areas of knitted structure thus allowing for the circulation of air between the pads.
10 . The textile device as set forth in any of the preceding claims, wherein the device comprises at least one area of loops extending along a surface of the elastic knitted structure, each loop of the area of loops being formed by a yarn extending from the knitted structure of which it is a part and comprising a curved portion arranged outside of the knitted structure.
11 . The textile device as claimed in the preceding claim, wherein said at least one area of loops delimits at least one area without loops over which extends said at least one pad.
12 . The textile device according to at least one of claims 10 or 11 , wherein said loops are trapped in a peripheral portion of said at least one pad.
13 . The textile device according to at least one of the preceding claims combined with claim 10 , wherein the pad extends in part over an area without loops and in that loops are trapped in a central portion of the pad.
14 . The textile device set forth in claim 13 , wherein the surface of the pad extending over the area without loops is greater than the surface of the pad extending over the area of loops.
15 . The textile device as set forth in any of claims 13 and 14 , wherein the loops trapped in the central portion of the pad form at least one line of loops.
16 . The textile device as set forth in any of the preceding claims combined with claim 10 , wherein said at least one pad has a thickness that is greater than the height of the loops taken with this pad.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
