Method and Device for Tending or Treating Body Tissue or for Shaping the Figure

Abstract

The invention concerns a method for tending human tissue, the method including the steps of having a body part of a person covered with watertight foil; having the body part wrapped in an elastic element, the elastic element enveloping the watertight foil, and the elastic element being under strain and thereby compressing tissue of the body part; and instructing the person to exercise.

       12 . A device for at least one of figure shaping, tending human tissue, and treating human tissue of a body part of a user's body, the device comprising:
 a watertight foil element shaped to cover a specific part of the user's body; and   an elastic element shaped to envelope said watertight foil element upon being wrapped around the body part and to thereby being stretched.   
   
   
       13 . The device according to  claim 12 , wherein said watertight foil element forms at least one foil item of clothing, and said elastic element forms at least one elastic item of clothing, and wherein said foil item of clothing covers at least all parts of the user's body that are covered by said elastic item of clothing. 
   
   
       14 . The device according to  claim 13 , wherein said foil item of clothing and said elastic item of clothing are shaped to cover at least the thighs and the abdomen of a human body. 
   
   
       15 . The device according to  claim 12 , wherein said elastic element has a shape selected from the group consisting of elastic trousers, an elastic stocking, elastic shorts, an elastic tube to be put around a part of a leg, an elastic sleeve to be put around a part of an arm, an elastic jacket, an elastic pullover, and an elastic suit. 
   
   
       16 . The device according to  claim 12 , which further comprises an effective substance to be applied to the skin of the user prior to putting on the watertight foil element. 
   
   
       17 . The device according to  claim 12 , wherein said foil has a thickness of no more than 50 μm. 
   
   
       18 . The device according to  claim 12 , wherein said foil has a thickness of no more than 30 μm. 
   
   
       19 . The device according to  claim 12 , wherein said foil has a thickness of no more than 20 μm. 
   
   
       20 . The device according to  claim 12 , wherein said elastic element is formed of an elastic tissue that is reversibly stretchable to at least 120% of a non-stretched size thereof. 
   
   
       21 . A method for at least one of figure shaping, tending human tissue, and treating human tissue of a body part of a user's body, the method which comprises the following steps:
 causing the body part to be covered with a watertight foil;   causing the body part to be wrapped by an elastic element, the elastic element enveloping the watertight foil, and the elastic element being under strain and thereby compressing tissue of the body part; and   instructing the person to take exercise or to rest for a certain amount of time.   
   
   
       22 . The method according to  claim 21 , wherein the causing steps comprise having the user cover the body part with watertight foil and wrap the elastic element about the watertight foil. 
   
   
       23 . The method according to  claim 21 , wherein the causing steps comprise covering the body part with watertight foil and wrapping the elastic element about the watertight foil. 
   
   
       24 . The method according to  claim 21 , which further comprises prior to causing the body part to be covered with watertight foil, applying an effective substance to the body part. 
   
   
       25 . The method according to  claim 21 , which comprises choosing the watertight foil and/or the elastic element to have a shape of the body part and to be shaped to fit on the body part. 
   
   
       26 . A kit of parts, for at least one of figure shaping, tending human tissue, and treating human tissue of a body part of a user's body, comprising:
 at least one device according to  claim 12 ; and   written instructions to carry out the following method steps:
 covering the body part with a watertight foil; 
 wrapping the body part with an elastic element, to cause the elastic element to envelope the watertight foil, and causing the elastic element to be under strain and thereby compressing tissue of the body part; and 
 instructing the person to take exercise or to rest for a certain amount of time.
