Abstract

A football goal comprises a framework Including two opposite gable frames ( 10 ). At its lower end, each gable frame ( 10 ) has abeam member ( 11 ), which extends in the longitudinal direction of the gable frame ( 10 ) and by means of which the gable frame ( 10 ) can rest upon a substrate for the goal, and a wheel unit ( 1 A), comprising a wheel ( 15 ), movable between an upper inactive position and a lower active position in which it can support a front portion of the gable frame ( 10 ) in a state in which said front portion is lifted from said substrate and rests on said wheel ( 15 ). The wheel unit ( 1 A) is mounted on the beam member ( 11 ) of the gable frame ( 10 ) in a manner permitting it to be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the beam member.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Football goal or other similar goal, comprising a framework, including two opposite gable frames ( 10 ), each having, at the lower end thereof, a beam member ( 11 ) which extends in the longitudinal direction of the gable frame ( 10 ) and by means of which the gable frame ( 10 ) can rest upon a substrate for the goal, and two wheel units ( 14 ) mountable each on one of the two gable frames ( 10 ) and each comprising a wheel ( 15 ) movable between on the one hand an upper inactive position and on the other hand a lower active position in which it can support a front portion of the associated gable frame ( 10 ) in a state in which said front portion is lifted from said substrate and rests on said wheel ( 15 ), characterized in that each one of said two wheel units ( 14 ) is arranged to be mounted on the beam member ( 11 ) of the associated gable frame ( 10 ) in a manner permitting it to be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the beam member.

2 . Goal according to claim 1 , characterized in that each one of the two wheel units ( 14 ) is arranged to be mounted on the beam member ( 11 ) of the associated gable frame ( 10 ) through the intermediary of a holder ( 17 ) which is arranged to be mounted longitudinally displaceable on the beam member ( 11 ) by means of a slide ( 21 ) received in a longitudinal guide groove ( 20 ) in the beam member.

3 . Goal according to claim 2 , characterized in that said holder ( 17 ) can be locked in any desired displacement position in relation to the beam member ( 11 ).

4 . Goal according to claim 2 , characterized in that each wheel unit ( 14 ) comprises a wheel carrier ( 16 ) pivotally mounted on the associated holder ( 17 ) for pivoting movement around a horizontal axis ( 18 ) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the beam member ( 11 ).
