Information Recording Method, Information Recording Medium and Information Recording Apparatus
Abstract
An information recording medium and information recording method using an optical recording medium in which at least one recording pulse is formed for recording information on the optical recording medium, and the information is recorded to the optical recording medium by irradiating the at least one recording pulse on the optical recording medium. A duration of the at least one recording pulse is determined by a combination of (1) a length of M (n) of a mark being currently written, (2) a length S(n−1) of a space precedent to the mark, and (3) a length S(n+1) of a space subsequent to the mark.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An information recording method using an optical recording medium comprising the steps of:
forming at least one recording pulse for recording information on the optical recording medium; and recording the information to the optical recording medium by irradiating the at least one recording pulse on the optical recording medium; wherein a duration of the at least one recording pulse is determined by a combination of (1) a length of M (n) of a mark being currently written, (2) a length S(n−1) of a space precedent to the mark, and (3) a length S(n+1) of a space subsequent to the mark.
2 . An information recording method using an optical recording medium comprising the steps of:
forming at least one recording pulse for recording information on the optical recording medium; and recording the information to the optical recording medium by irradiating the at least one recording pulse on the optical recording medium; wherein a leading edge of the at least one recording pulse is shifted at a shifting value; wherein the shifting value is determined by a combination of (1) a length M (n) of a mark being currently written, (2) a length S(n−1) of a space precedent to the mark, and (3) a length S(n+1) of a space subsequent to the mark.
3 . An information recording medium comprising:
a disk-shaped substrate; and at least one track being provided on the disk-shaped substrate; wherein an area of the disk-shaped substrate stores a table having information about a duration of at least one recording pulse including information to be recorded by irradiating the optical recording medium; and wherein the duration of the recording pulse is determined by a combination of (1) a length of M (n) of a mark being currently written, (2) a length S(n−1) of a space precedent to the mark, and (3) a length S(n+1) of a space subsequent to the mark.
4 . An information recording medium comprising:
a disk-shaped substrate; and at least one track being provided on the disk-shaped substrate; wherein an area of the disk-shaped substrate stores a table having information about at least one edge shifting value of a leading edge of recording pulse including information to be recorded by irradiating the optical recording medium; and wherein the edge shifting value is determined by a combination of (1) a length of M (n) of a mark being currently written, (2) a length S(n−1) of a space precedent to the mark, and (3) a length S(n+1) of a space subsequent to the mark.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
