Abstract

A ski, especially an alpine ski, having a ski body with a shovel area forming a front end of the ski body, a rear ski body section forming the rear end of the ski body and in between these two sections, a reduced ski body section forming ski body longitudinal sides, in which the width of the ski body in the shovel area is greater than the maximum width of the ski body on the rear ski body section, and the maximum width of the rear ski body section is greater than the minimum width of the ski body in the reduced middle ski body section.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A ski comprising a ski body with a shovel area forming a front end of the ski body, a rear ski body section forming a rear end of the ski body and in between the front end and the rear end, a reduced ski body section forming ski body longitudinal sides, in which a maximum width (b 1 ) of the ski body in the shovel area is greater than a maximum width (b 2 ) of the ski body on the rear end of the ski body, and the maximum width (b 2 ) of the rear end of the ski body is greater than a minimum width (b 3 ) of the ski body in the reduced middle ski body section, wherein the difference (D1) between the maximum width (b 1 ) in the shovel area and the maximum width (b 2 ) in the rear ski body section is 25-31 units.

2 . The ski according to claim 1 , wherein the difference (D1) between the maximum width (b 1 ) in the shovel area and the maximum width (b 2 ) in the rear ski body section is 29.5-30.5 units.

3 . The ski according to claim 2 , wherein the difference (D1) between the maximum width (b 1 ) in the shovel area and the maximum width (b 2 ) in the rear ski body section is 30 units.

4 . The ski according to claim 1 , wherein one unit is 0.9-1.1 mm.

5 . The ski according to claim 1 , wherein a difference (D2) between the maximum ski body width (b 2 ) on the rear ski body section and the ski body width (b 3 ) at a greatest reduction of the ski body is 19-23 units.

6 . The ski according to claim 5 , wherein the difference (D2) between the maximum ski body width (b 2 ) on the rear ski body section and the ski body width (b 3 ) at the greatest reduction of the ski body is 20.5-21.5 units.

7 . The ski according to claim 6 , wherein a difference (D2) between the maximum ski body width (b 2 ) on the rear ski body section and the ski body width (b 3 ) at the greatest reduction of the ski body is 21 units.

8 . The ski according to claim 1 , wherein the ski has dimensions embodied according to the following table:
