Abstract

A modular coordinate set hanger has a primary hanger with a first body, a hook extending upward from the first body, a first means for suspending a garment from the first body, and a first connection tab extending downward from the body, operative to releasably suspend a dependent hanger therefrom. A connection link having a locking end at each end thereof, the locking end having at least one snap lock with at least one horizontal surface is releasably attachable to at least a connection tab of a primary hanger. A dependent hanger has a body and a second means for suspending a garment from the second body, and a second connection tab extending upward from the second body. The second connection tab is operative to releasably secure the locking end of the connecting link therein.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A coordinate hanger system, comprising:
 an upper hanger, comprising:
 an upper hanger body having at least one hanger arm;
 a suspending member connected to the upper hanger body; and
 a first connection tab extending downward from approximately the middle of the upper hanger body;
   a lower hanger, comprising:
 a lower hanger body comprising at least one hanger arm; and
 a second connection tab extending upward from approximately the middle of the lower hanger body; and
   a connection link, comprising:
 an elongate body; and
 a first locking end and a second locking end spaced from each other, the first locking end being configured to engage the first connection tab to attach the connection link to the upper hanger, the second locking end being configured to engage the second connection tab to attach the connection link to the lower hanger,
 wherein the first connection tab comprises a female mating part and the first locking end comprises a complementary male mating part, or correspondingly vice versa, and the second connection tab comprises a female mating part and the second locking end comprises a complementary male mating part, or correspondingly vice versa; and
 wherein the male mating parts comprise a snap lock, having at least one horizontal surface, and a recess in a surface of the locking ends on an opposite side from the snap lock.

       2 . The coordinate hanger system according to claim 1 , wherein the female mating part comprises a second horizontal surface for engaging the horizontal surface of the snap lock.

       3 . The coordinate hanger system according to claim 2 , wherein the snap lock further comprises a sloped surface for facilitating the engagement of the male mating part and the female mating part.

       4 . The coordinate hanger system according to claim 3 , wherein the female mating part further comprises a retaining surface for engaging the sloped surface when the male mating part and the female mating part engage each other, and a retaining band offset from the retaining surface for defining a space receiving the snap lock.

       5 . The coordinate set hanger according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the upper hanger body and the lower hanger body further comprise means for gripping a garment.

       6 . A coordinate hanger system, comprising:
 an upper hanger, comprising:
 an upper hanger body having a pair of hanger arms extending oppositely from each other;
 a hook connected to the upper hanger body; and
 a first connection tab extending downward from the upper hanger body;
   a lower hanger, comprising:
 a lower hanger body having a pair of hanger arms extending oppositely from each other; and
 a second connection tab extending upward from the lower hanger body; and
   a connection link, comprising:
 an elongate body having two opposite ends; and
 a first locking end and a second locking end disposed at the opposite ends of the elongate body, respectively, the first locking end being configured to engage the first connection tab to attach the connection link to the upper hanger, the second locking end being configured to engage the second connection tabs to attach the connection link to the lower hanger,
 wherein the first connection tab comprises a female mating part and the first locking end comprises a complementary male mating part, or correspondingly vice versa, and the second connection tab comprises a female mating part and the second locking end comprises a complementary male mating part, or correspondingly vice versa.

       7 . A coordinate hanger system, comprising:
 an upper hanger, comprising:
 an upper hanger body having a pair of hanger arms extending oppositely from each other;
 a hook connected to the upper hanger body; and
 a first connection tab extending downward from the upper hanger body;
   a lower hanger, comprising:
 a lower hanger body having a pair of hanger arms extending oppositely from each other; and
 a second connection tab extending upward from the lower hanger body; and
   a connection link, comprising:
 an elongate body having two opposite ends; and
 a first locking end and a second locking end disposed at the opposite ends of the elongate body, respectively,
 wherein the first locking end is configured to releasably engage the first connection tab to attach the connection link to the upper hanger in a releasable arrangement, and the second locking end is configured to releasably engage the second connection tab to attach the connection link to the lower hanger in a releasable arrangement.
