Abstract
The invention relates to nucleic acid molecules which code for the tumor rejection antigen precursor MAGE-3. Also disclosed are vectors, cell lines, and so forth, which utilize the nucleic acid molecule, and optionally, molecules coding for human leukocyte antigen HLA-A1. Uses of these materials in therapeutic and diagnostic contexts are also a part of the invention.

(i) the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 13, and (ii) the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 14.

(i) nucleotides 625-1578 of SEQ ID NO: 13, and (ii) nucleotides 625-1578 of SEQ ID NO: 14.
24 . An expression vector comprising the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 22 , operably linked to a promoter.
25 . An expression vector comprising the isolated nucleic acid molecule of claim 23 , operably linked to a promoter.

42 . An isolated protein encoded by a nucleic acid molecule consisting of a nucleotide sequence which hybridizes to the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 11 or SEQ ID NO: 12, at the following conditions: four washes at 65° C., one hour each, in 2×SSC, 0.4% SDS, and 30 minutes at 0.01×SSC, 0.1% SDS
