Roller
Abstract
Providing a roller to prevent drag of a colorant, which is jetted on an electric wire and not dried yet, the guide roller 62 is arranged at a downstream side of a coloring nozzle 31, which jets a colorant Cm toward a highest point 3 b of an outer surface of the electric wire 3 moving along a lengthwise direction thereof, in a moving direction of the electric wire 3 . The guide roller 62 is formed with a pair of tapered surfaces 62 b catching and supporting the electric wire 3 and approaching to each other in accordance with nearing to a rotating axis C. When a radius R EW of the electric wire 3 is 1.2 mm, an angle θ T formed by the pair of tapered surfaces 62 b is designed at least 60 degrees and not more than θ x degrees.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 : A roller, which is provided at a downstream side of a coloring unit for jetting a colorant out to a top of an outer surface of an electric wire moving along a lengthwise direction of the electric wire in a moving direction of the electric wire, comprising:
a pair of tapered surfaces touching the outer surface of the electric wire, and approaching to each other in accordance with nearing to a rotating axis, wherein an angle formed by the pair of tapered surfaces has a value from at least 60 degrees to less than 180 degree for the electric wire with a 1.2 mm diameter.
2 : A roller, which is provided at a downstream side of a coloring unit for jetting a colorant out to a top of an outer surface of an electric wire moving along a lengthwise direction of the electric wire in a moving direction of the electric wire, comprising:
a pair of tapered surfaces touching the outer surface of the electric wire, and approaching to each other in accordance with nearing to a rotating axis, wherein an angle formed by the pair of tapered surfaces has a value from at least 30 degrees to less than 180 degree for the electric wire with a 2.8 mm diameter.
3 : The roller according to claim 1 , wherein the angle formed by the pair of tapered surfaces has a value of at least not more than 120 degree.
4 : The roller according to claim 2 , wherein the angle formed by the pair of tapered surfaces has a value of at least not more than 120 degree.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
