Abstract
A multidimensional image and a method of producing a multidimensional image. A plurality of planar images is layered in a desired sequence. A matrical image file is formed from the layered planar images and then printed. The resolution of the final matrical image is separate in both the X- and Y-directions, which provides for a high level of resolution for both movement and 3-D effects in the image.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A product comprised of a matrical image, said matrical image comprising a plurality of individual images, wherein said individual images are capable of being viewed in tangential fashion.
2 . The product of claim 1 further comprising a matrical lens.
3 . The product of claim 2 further comprising a plurality of matrical lenses.
4 . The product of claim 3 wherein said matrical lenses are arranged in a tessellated pattern.
5 . The product of claim 4 wherein said matrical lenses are a hexagonal or quadrilateral shape.
6 . The product of claim 5 wherein said matrical lenses are of a square shape.
7 . The product of claim 5 wherein said matrical lenses are of a rectangular shape.
8 . A product comprised of a matrical lens.
9 . The product of claim 8 further comprising a plurality of matrical lenses.
10 . The product of claim 9 wherein said matrical lenses are arranged in a tessellated pattern.
11 . The product of claim 1 wherein said matrical lenses are of a hexagonal or quadrilateral shape.
12 . The product of claim 9 wherein said matrical lenses are of a square shape.
13 . The product of claim 9 wherein said matrical lenses are of a rectangular shape.
14 . A method of producing a multidimensional image comprising the steps of:
providing a plurality of individual planar image frames; layering the planar image frames spatially above one another into a matrical frame set to form a matrical sequence; selecting a matrical lens; and forming a composite matrical image file from the matrical frame set.
15 . The method of claim 14 further comprising the step of outputting the composite matrical image file to form a matrical image.
16 . The method of claim 15 wherein the step of outputting the composite matrical image file further comprises printing the matrical image.
17 . The method of claim 16 wherein the step of printing is carried out with a digital printing plate or digital printing press.
18 . The method according to claim 14 wherein the planar image frames are digital image frames.
19 . The method according to claim 14 further comprising the step of saving the composite matrical image file.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
