Cover for an underplate

Abstract

A cover for an underplate made of a discoidal shaped stretchable material which diameter is larger than that of said underplate is provided. The periphery of the cover includes a fastening element having elastic memory disposed thereabout.

1 . A cover for an underplate, comprising a stretchable material of discoidal shape, having a diameter larger than a diameter of the underplate, and an elastic memory fastening element disposed about a periphery of the stretchable material. 
   
   
       2 . The cover according to  claim 1 , wherein the stretchable material is selected from the group consisting of: natural leather, synthetic leather, velveteen, skin, nylon, lycra, and jersey. 
   
   
       3 . The cover according to  claim 1 , wherein the fastening element is an elastic or elastomeric band. 
   
   
       4 . The cover according to  claim 1 , wherein the fastening element is attached to the cover by: sewing, adhesivation, or thermofusing. 
   
   
       5 . The cover according to  claim 1 , wherein the elastic memory fastening element, when in a resting position, reduces the diameter of the cover by 20% to 40%, and forms in the cover a surface and a fold which extends under the surface. 
   
   
       6 . The cover according to  claim 5 , wherein the surface extends over the underplate and the fold extends under the underplate when the cover is placed over the underplate. 
   
   
       7 . The cover according to  claim 5 , wherein the surface extends under the underplate and the fold extends over the underplate when the cover is placed under the underplate. 
   
   
       8 . An underplate cover comprising a stretchable material of discoidal shape, having a diameter larger than a diameter of the underplate, and an elastic memory fastening element disposed about a periphery of the stretchable material, the elastic memory fastening element, when in a resting position, reduces the diameter of the cover by 20% to 40%, forming in the cover a surface and a fold which extends under the surface.
