Abstract
A device for stacking an endless, folded web of corrugated cardboard comprises at least one guide member for supporting the folded web of corrugated cardboard and at least one stop member for depositing stacks of a folded web of corrugated cardboard, with the at least one stop member being guided for displacement along the guide member.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A device for stacking an endless, folded web of corrugated cardboard ( 2 ), the device comprising
a. at least one guide member ( 50 ) for supporting the folded web ( 2 ) of corrugated cardboard; b. at least one stop member ( 58 ) for depositing stacks ( 51 ) of a folded web ( 2 ) of corrugated cardboard; c. with the at least one stop member ( 58 ) being guided for displacement along the guide member ( 50 ).
2 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one guide member ( 50 ) is at least partially convex.
3 . A device according to claim 2 , wherein the at least one guide member ( 50 ) is arc-shaped.
4 . A device according to claim 2 , wherein the at least one guide member ( 50 ) has an at least partially adjustable inclination.
5 . A device according to claim 4 , wherein a hydraulic adjustment member ( 57 ) is provided for adjusting the inclination of the at least one guide member ( 50 ).
6 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one stop member ( 58 ) is lowerable into the guide member ( 50 ).
7 . A device according to claim 6 , wherein the stop member ( 58 ) is retractable and at least one of extendable and foldable inwardly and outwardly.
8 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one stop member ( 58 ) is oriented perpendicular to the at least one guide member ( 50 ).
9 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein in addition to that, a cutting device ( 6 ) is provided for separating the stacks ( 51 ) from the upstream web ( 2 ) of corrugated cardboard.
10 . A device according to claim 9 , wherein the cutting device ( 6 ) comprises a cutting unit ( 63 ) which is displaceable parallel to a portion of the at least one guide member ( 50 ).
11 . A device according to claim 10 , wherein the cutting unit ( 63 ) is displaceable synchronously with the stop member ( 58 ).
12 . A device according to claim 9 , wherein the cutting device ( 6 ) comprises a hydraulic mechanism ( 64 ) for displacing a cutting member ( 65 ) perpendicular to the guide member ( 50 ).
13 . A method of controlled stacking an endless, folded web ( 2 ) of corrugated cardboard, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a device ( 7 ) according to the invention; guiding the web ( 2 ) of corrugated cardboard, which is folded such as to form folded portions ( 67 ), along the at least one guide member ( 50 ); arranging the folded portions ( 67 ) in stacks ( 51 ), with the lowermost folded portion ( 67 ) of a stack ( 51 ) abutting the at least one stop member ( 58 ); displacing the at least one stop member ( 58 ) together with the stack ( 51 ) abutting said stop member ( 58 ) along the at least one guide member ( 50 ).
14 . A method according to claim 13 , wherein in each case one of the folds ( 20 ) bounding the folded portions ( 67 ) is disposed on the guide member ( 50 ) of the stacking device ( 7 ) during the entire stacking process.
15 . A method according to claim 13 , wherein the folded portions ( 67 ) are closer together in the region of their folds ( 20 ) abutting the guide member ( 50 ) than in the region of their folds ( 20 ) located outside.
16 . A method according to claim 13 , wherein the stack ( 51 ) is separated from the upstream web ( 2 ) of corrugated cardboard by means of a cutting device ( 6 ) during the displacement of the stop member ( 58 ).Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
