A printhead is provided having an elongate carrier, a plurality of ejection nozzle integrated circuits mounted on the carrier, and control circuitry positioned on the carrier and operatively connected to the ejection nozzle integrated circuits to control operation thereof. an elongate carrier; a plurality of ejection nozzle integrated circuits mounted on the carrier; and control circuitry positioned on the carrier and operatively connected to the ejection nozzle integrated circuits to control operation thereof, wherein the mounted ejection nozzle integrated circuits comprise more than 150,000 ejection nozzles.
2 . A print assembly as claimed in claim 1 , comprising at least 200,000 ejection nozzles.
3 . A print assembly as claimed in claim 2 , comprising between 300,000 and 800,000 ejection nozzles.
4 . A print assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein between 40 and 100 ejection nozzle integrated circuits are mounted on the carrier.
5 .
