Abstract
The present invention relates to a device comprising a mat ( 1, 2 ), which has at least one through clearance ( 1.1 ) so that a remaining part constitutes an outer mat ( 1 ), at least one inner mat ( 2 ) being arranged in said at least one clearance ( 1.1 ) and said outer mat ( 1 ) having at least one first device-attributed, upper layer ( 1.4 ) provided with at least one non-rigid pile ( 1.5 ) of plastic in the form of artificial turf. Said inner mat ( 2 ) has at least one second device-attributed, upper layer ( 2.4 ) consisting of a material having a substantially smooth upperside and that is denser than the material of the first upper layer ( 1.4 ) of the outer mat ( 1 ). The present invention also relates to the use of the device.

A device comprising a mat, which has at least one through clearance so that a remaining part constitutes an outer mat, at least one inner mat being arranged in said at least one clearance and said outer mat having at least one first device-attributed, upper layer provided with at least one non-rigid pile of plastic in the form of artificial turf, that said inner mat has at least one second device-attributed, upper layer consisting of a material having a substantially smooth upperside and that is denser than the material of the first upper layer of the outer mat, characterized in that said material consists of twisted nylon with a water-absorption capacity of approx. 3.5-approx. 7.5 l/m 2 and a pile weight of approx. 500-approx. 900 g/m 2 , that said second upper layer lies on at least one lower layer and that said second upper layer and said lower layer of said inner mat under normal conditions are fire-proof, i.e., non-inflammable.

The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said material further comprises polyamide, wool, polyester, polypropylene or any other similar known material, wherein each one of the materials may be used alone in combination with the twisted nylon or in combination with one or more other materials in combination with the twisted nylon.
3 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said material has a water-absorption capacity of preferably approx. 4.5-approx. 6.5 l/m 2 , and most preferably approx. 5.5 l/m 2 .
4 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said material has a pile weight of preferably approx. 600-approx. 800 g/m 2 , and most preferably approx. 700 g/m 2 .
5 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said material has a pile thickness of approx. 5.0-approx. 9.0 mm, preferably approx. 6.0-approx. 8.0 mm, and most preferably approx. 7.0 mm.
6 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said at least one lower layer is in the form of nitrile rubber or any other similar known material.
7 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said lower layer has a thickness of approx. 0.7-approx. 1.9 mm, preferably approx. 1.0-approx. 1.6 mm, and most preferably approx. 1.3 mm.
8 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said second upper layer and said lower layer together and when interconnected have a total thickness of approx. 4.5-approx. 12.5 mm, preferably approx. 6.5-approx. 10.5 mm, and most preferably approx. 8.5 mm.
9 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said second upper layer and said lower layer together and when interconnected have a total weight of approx. 1.7-approx. 3.7 kg/m 2 , preferably approx. 2.2-approx. 3.2 kg/m 2 , and most preferably approx. 2.7 kg/m 2 .
10 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said at least one lower layer lies on at least one additional lower layer in the form of foam rubber, foamed PVC or any other similar known material.

The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said second upper layer and said lower layer of said inner mat, if they together and when interconnected are exposed to an average heat radiation greater than or equal to 8.0 kW/m 2 , preferably approx. 8.0-approx. 10.6 kW/m 2 , in connection with a test for 30 minutes according to EN ISO 9239-1, have a smoke production that represents an average total light attenuation that is smaller than or equal to 750%·min, preferably approx. 343-approx. 750%·min, upon testing for fire classification according to EN 13501-1 (2002), said part of the mat, under given conditions, being fire-proof, i.e., non-inflammable.

The device according to claim 11 , characterized in that said second upper layer and said lower layer of said inner mat, if they together and when interconnected are exposed to an average heat radiation that is approx. 10.6 kW/m 2 in connection with a test for maximum 30 minutes according to EN ISO 9239-1, have a smoke production that represents an average total light attenuation that is approx. 343%·min upon testing for fire classification according to EN 13501-1 (2002), said part of the mat, under given conditions, being fire-proof, i.e., non-inflammable.
13 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that said at least one clearance is entirely surrounded by the outer mat.
14 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the upperside of the second upper layer of the inner mat is provided with printing in the form of text and/or illustration and/or colour.
15 . The device according to claim 14 , characterized in that said printing is made by the Chromojet method.
16 . The device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the mat is a tee mat for golf training.
17 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of golf, preferably on one or more spots on the course particularly subjected to wear, e.g., at least one tee point and/or within putting distance from at least one hole, and upon training and/or competition.

The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of tennis, preferably on one or more spots on the court particularly subjected to wear, e.g., at at least one baseline within an area that is used for serving and/or at the net, and upon training or competition.
19 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of football or soccer, preferably on one or more spots on the ground particularly subjected to wear, e.g., in and around at least one penalty spot and/or around at least one corner flag/corner spot, and upon training or competition.
20 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of rugby, preferably on one or more spots on the ground particularly subjected to wear and upon training and/or competition.
21 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of cricket, preferably on one or more spots on the ground particularly subjected to wear and upon training and/or competition.
22 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of baseball, preferably on one or more spots on the ground particularly subjected to wear and upon training and/or competition.
23 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support for games of field hockey, preferably on one or more spots on the ground particularly subjected to wear and upon training and/or competition.
24 . The use of the device according to claim 1 , characterized in that the device is used as a support in sports grounds, parks and/or gardens, preferably on one or more spots particularly subjected to wear, e.g., below and/or near at least one litterbin.
