Claims
Abstract
A multi-material glove providing warmth and improved grip while not having a significant negative impact on the dexterity of the use is disclosed. The multi-material glove includes a first material constituting the index finger, thumb finger and area between the index finger and thumb finger, a second material constituting the back hand side of the glove, including the pinky finger, ring finger and middle finger, and a third material constituting the palm of the glove, including the pinky finger, ring finger and middle finger.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A multi-material glove comprising:
a hand portion, the hand portion comprising:
a palm side; and
a back hand side; and
a thumb tubular portion, an index finger tubular portion, a middle finger tubular portion, a ring finger tubular portion, and a pinky finger tubular portion, each of the tubular portions having a palm side and a back hand side and extending from the hand portion; wherein the material of the thumb tubular portion, index tubular portion and a section of the hand portion extending between the thumb tubular portion and index finger tubular portion comprise a first material; wherein the back hand side of the hand portion and the back hand side of the middle finger tubular portion, ring finger tubular portion and pinky finger tubular portion comprise a second material; and wherein the palm side of the hand portion and the and the palm side of the middle finger tubular portion, ring finger tubular portion and pinky finger tubular portion comprise a third material.
2 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the first material comprises a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, natural rubber, synthetic rubber, natural fiber, synthetic fiber, natural leather, synthetic leather and mixtures thereof.
3 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the first material comprises a material selected from the group consisting of polyurethane, leather and latex.
4 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the second material comprises a material selected from the group consisting of natural fiber, synthetic fiber, natural leather, synthetic leather and mixtures thereof.
5 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the second material comprises a material selected from the group consisting of polar fleece, wool, cotton, leather, rayon and fluoropolymer.
6 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the third material comprises a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, synthetic leather, natural leather, synthetic rubber, natural rubber, synthetic fiber and mixtures thereof;
7 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the third material comprises a material selected from the group consisting of polychloroprene, rayon and leather
8 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the first material comprises polyurethane, the second material comprises polar fleece and the third material comprises polychloroprene.
9 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the third material includes a textured pattern for improving grip.
10 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the thumb tubular portion and index finger tubular portion include an opening on the palm side of the tubular portion.

The multi-material glove of claim 10 , wherein the thumb tubular portion and index finger tubular portion include a fastener on the back hand side for securing a top portion of the tubular portion to a lower portion of the tubular portion when the top portion of the tubular portion is folded back over the lower portion.
12 . The multi-material glove of claim 1 , wherein the second material has a camouflage print.
