Abstract
A magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly is adapted to feed a piece of paper in a machine that requires paper-feeding and that includes a casing. The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly includes a first roller and a second roller, both of which are adapted to be pivotably mounted in the casing. The first roller is made of a magnetically attractive material. The second roller produces a magnetic force to magnetically attract the first roller toward the second roller so as to maintain a predetermined gap between the first roller and the second roller.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly adapted to feed a piece of paper in a machine that requires paper-feeding, the machine including a casing, said magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly comprising:
a first roller adapted to be pivotably mounted in the casing, said first roller being made of a magnetically attractive material; and a second roller adapted to be pivotably mounted in the casing, and producing a magnetic force to magnetically attract said first roller toward said second roller so as to maintain a predetermined gap between said first roller and said second roller.
2 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said second roller has a peripheral surface, and includes an anti-slip layer disposed on said peripheral surface.
3 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said second roller further includes a nonmagnetic tube having said peripheral surface, and at least one magnetic unit disposed in said tube.
4 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said tube has opposite ends, and a pair of said magnetic units are disposed in said tube proximate respectively to said ends of said tube.
5 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 4 , wherein said magnetic units are disposed in said tube in such a manner that like magnetic poles of said magnetic units face each other.
6 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said tube of said second roller is made of a nonmagnetic stainless steel material.
7 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said second roller further includes two caps that cover respectively said ends of said tube.
8 . The magnetic paper-feeding roller assembly as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said first roller is made of a magnetically attractive stainless steel material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
