Garment steamer

Abstract

The present invention relates to a garment steamer for unrumpling clothing such as trousers, jackets, one-piece, or the like while emitting steam, more particularly, to a garment steamer having a grabbing means capable of bringing trousers to the stretch.

1 . A garment steamer comprising:
 a base having a fluid heating assembly;   a fluid container that supply fluid to the fluid heating assembly;   a hose in fluid communication with the fluid heating assembly;   a rod whose lower end is connected to the base;   a hanger disposed to an upper portion of the rod; and   a grabbing means disposed to a lower portion of the rod.   
   
   
       2 . The garment steamer according to  claim 1 , wherein the rod is furnished with a height adjusting means that varies a vertical location of the grabbing means along the rod. 
   
   
       3 . The garment steamer according to  claim 2 , wherein the grabbing means comprises a bar, a clothespin installed to the bar, and a Z-axis rotator that positions the bar parallel to the rod (Y-axis) or perpendicular to the rod (X-axis) by rotating the bar on Z-axis with respect to the height adjusting means.

The garment steamer according to  claim 1 , wherein the hanger comprises a hub coupled to the rod, a plurality of arms whose proximal ends are fixed to the hub, a plurality of ribs whose one ends are connected to distal ends of the arms and the other ends of the ribs are coupled to the rod, and a clothespin installed to each rib. 
   
   
       5 . The garment steamer according to  claim 4 , further comprising a Y-axis rotator that rotates the bar around the rod. 
   
   
       6 . The garment steamer according to  claim 5 , further comprising an aligner that configures the bar to be on the same plane (X-Y plane) with the ribs.

The garment steamer according to  claim 2 , wherein the hanger comprises a hub coupled to the rod, a plurality of arms whose proximal ends are fixed to the hub, a plurality of ribs whose one ends are connected to distal ends of the arms and the other ends of the ribs are coupled to the rod, and a clothespin installed to each rib.

The garment steamer according to  claim 3 , wherein the hanger comprises a hub coupled to the rod, a plurality of arms whose proximal ends are fixed to the hub, a plurality of ribs whose one ends are connected to distal ends of the arms and the other ends of the ribs are coupled to the rod, and a clothespin installed to each rib.
