Tool System with Replaceable Heads and Offset Handle
Abstract
A tool system is disclosed having a body including a handle extending therefrom, a detachable head including a working tool, and a multi-part connector for detachable connecting the head to the body, the connector including opposed, flexible members positioned on the body towards an end of the body and means on the head for connecting with the opposed flexible members, the opposed flexible members and the means for connecting with the flexible members working in concert to detachably secure the head to the body. The handle of the tool system can be offset with respect to the axis of the body and the detachable head.

37 . A paint brush kit comprising:
a handle having a hand gripping portion and a brush-head engagement portion; a first brush head having a receiving portion for receiving the brush-head engagement portion of the handle; a second brush head having a second receiving portion for receiving the brush-head engagement portion of the handle; and a roller head having a third receiving portion for receiving the brush-head engagement portion of the handle, wherein the handle is selectively engageable with one of the first brush head, the second brush head, and the roller head.
38 . The paint brush kit of claim 37 , wherein the handle is configured such that the engagement portion is angled relative to the hand-gripping portion.
39 . The paint brush kit of claim 37 , wherein the engagement portion defines an axis, and each of the first brush head, second brush head, and roller head is connectable to the engagement portion along the axis.
40 . A method of packaging a paint brush, the method comprising:
providing a paint brush handle; providing a first paint brush head that is configured to be removably mounted on the paint brush handle; providing replacement paint brush heads that are removably mountable on the paint brush handle such that the first paint brush head can be disposed of after use and a replacement paint brush head used in its place.
41 . The method of claim 40 , wherein the paint brush handle has a grip portion and an engagement portion.
