Abstract

A game movie distribution system acquires key input information input by a player using a game device when the player plays a game. The game movie distribution system reproduces the game played using the game device based on the key input information to generate movie data that indicates the game. The game movie distribution system delivers the movie data to an external terminal in response to a request from the external terminal.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A game movie distribution method comprising:
acquiring key input information, the key input information being input by a player using a game device when the player plays a game; reproducing the game played using the game device based on the key input information to generate movie data of the game; and delivering the movie data to an external terminal.

2 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 1 , further comprising:
acquiring specification information that relates to movie reproduction capability of the external terminal; and converting a data format of the movie data into a data format that conforms to the specification information.

3 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 2 ,
the specification information including at least a specification that relates to a resolution and an aspect ratio of the external terminal.

4 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 1 , further comprising:
storing the movie data in a movie data library corresponding to a storage date; selecting distribution target movie data from the movie data stored in the movie data library, and delivering the selected movie data to the external terminal; and deleting movie data that satisfies a given deletion condition from the movie data library, the given deletion condition including at least a storage date condition.

5 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 2 , further comprising:
storing the movie data of which the data format has been converted into the data format that conforms to the specification information in the movie data library corresponding to the movie data before conversion; and selecting distribution target movie data from the movie data stored in the movie data library, and delivering the selected movie data to the external terminal.

6 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 1 , further comprising:
storing the movie data in a movie data library; selecting distribution target movie data from the movie data stored in the movie data library, and delivering the selected movie data to the external terminal; counting a distribution frequency of each piece of the movie data; and deleting movie data that satisfies a given deletion condition from the movie data library, the given deletion condition including at least a distribution frequency condition.

7 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 1 , further comprising:
acquiring player information from the game device, the player information relating to a player who has played the game using the game device; setting a probability that a game corresponding to the player information is selected as a distribution target based on the player information; and determining whether or not to set the game corresponding to the player information to be a reproduction target based on the probability, and reproducing the game corresponding to the player information based on the key input information when determining that the game corresponding to the player information is set to be the reproduction target.

8 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 7 ,
the player information including information relating to a player level that is changed based on a game result; and the setting of the probability including setting the probability based on the player level.

9 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 1 , further comprising:
acquiring information relating to an installation location of the game device from the game device; performing given statistical calculations on a number of games corresponding to each installation location; and determining whether or not to deliver a game played in one installation location based on a relative relationship between a reproduction frequency of a game played in the one installation location and a reproduction frequency of a game played in another installation location utilizing results of the statistical calculations.

10 . The game movie distribution method as defined in claim 1 further comprising:
adding information that displays a given advertisement to the movie data, and delivering the resulting movie data.

11 . A game movie distribution system comprising:
a key input information acquisition section that acquires key input information, the key input information being input by a player using a game device when the player plays a game; a movie data generation section that reproduces the game played using the game device based on the key input information to generate movie data of the game; and a movie distribution section that delivers the movie data to an external terminal.
