Abstract
Disclosed is a novel human gene designated CUDR. Provides is also a CUDR gene as a biomarker in the diagnosis of human cancers and a cancer therapy.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for diagnosing a subject suffering from or suspected of suffering from a tumor, or for evaluating the treatment outcome of an anticancer agent in a subject suffering from a tumor, with the proviso that the tumor is not an estrogen receptor alpha positive breast cancer, comprising:
providing a pair of primers for amplification of nucleic acid, wherein said nucleic acid consists of nucleotides 1383-1636 of SEQ ID NO: 1; providing a biological sample from the subject; and detecting the presence or the absence of a cDNA comprising nucleotides 1383-1636 of SEQ ID NO: 1 by amplifying nucleic acid in the sample using said primers, wherein the presence of the cDNA in the sample indicates the subject has a tumor or that the anticancer agent is ineffective when the biological sample comprises tumor cells that have been treated with the anticancer agent.
2 . The method of claim T, wherein said pair of primers is SEQ ID NO:10 and SEQ ID NO:11.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the tumor is selected from the group consisting of lung cancer, hepatocellular cancer, colon cancer, cervical cancer and estrogen receptor alpha negative breast cancer.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the biological sample is selected from the group consisting of a serum, a plasma, and a tissue.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
