Rotary Piece of Furniture

Abstract

A rotary piece of furniture comprising a body ( 2 ) provided with at least one upper portion ( 3 ), one lower portion ( 4 ), one posterior portion ( 5 ) and a space ( 6 ) accessible at least through one frontal opening ( 7 ). Said rotary piece of furniture ( 1 ) comprises at least one support mean ( 8 ) of the furniture ( 1 ) and at least two arms means ( 9, 10, 11, 12 ) each having one end hinged to a respective side of the support means and the another end hinged to the furniture ( 1 ). The arm means ( 9, 10, 11, 12 ) allow to turn the body ( 2 ) at least 180° respect to the vertical direction to exchange the positions of the posterior portion ( 5 ) and the frontal opening ( 7 ) passing from a hiding condition (O) to an access condition (a) and vice versa.

1 ) A rotary piece of furniture comprising a body ( 2 ) provided with at least one upper portion ( 3 ), one lower portion ( 4 ), one posterior portion ( 5 ) and a space ( 6 ) accessible at least through one frontal opening ( 7 ); said rotary piece for furniture ( 1 ) having at least one support means ( 8 ) and at least two arm means ( 9 ,  10 ,  11 ,  12 ), each arm means having one end hinged to a respective side of the support means and another end hinged to the furniture ( 1 ) wherein the arm means ( 9 ,  10 ,  11 ,  12 ) allow the body ( 2 ) to turn at least 180° with respect to a vertical direction to exchange positions of the posterior portion ( 5 ) and the frontal opening ( 7 ) passing from a hiding condition (O) to an access condition (a) and vice versa; said support means ( 8 ) being provided with a fixing means ( 13 ) for fixing the support means to a wall, or to another fixed body, and being rigidly connected to an upper crossbar ( 14 ) and/or a lower crossbar ( 15 ) and/or rigidly connected to two lateral uprights ( 20 ,  21 ) where ends of said crossbar ( 14 ,  15 ) or lateral uprights ( 20 ,  21 ) are lateral with respect to the body ( 2 ) and have first means ( 16 ,  17 ,  18 ,  19 ) for rotatably connecting the arm means ( 9 ,  10 ,  11 ,  12 ) to the support means ( 8 ). 
   
   
       2 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the support means ( 8 ) are adapted for fixing to a wall (P), a separator, a column and similar. 
   
   
       3 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the support means ( 8 ) are adapted for fixing to a floor, a column and similar structures and have a hiding panel which contrasts with the body ( 2 ). 
   
   
       4 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the crossbars ( 14 ,  15 ) are interconnected by the two lateral uprights ( 20 ,  21 ) forming a chassis at least slightly wider than the width of the furniture ( 1 ). 
   
   
       5 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  wherein the two upper arm means ( 9 ,  10 ) are articulated to the upper crossbar ( 14 ) and the two lower arm means ( 11 ,  12 ) are articulated to the lower crossbar ( 15 ). 
   
   
       6 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  wherein the two upper arm means ( 9 ,  10 ) and two lower arm means ( 11 ,  12 ) are articulated to the respective first hinge means ( 16 ,  17 ,  18 ,  19 ) of the two lateral uprights ( 20 ,  21 ). 
   
   
       7 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 5  characterized in that the first hinge means ( 16 ,  17 ) at a side and first hinge means ( 18 ,  19 ) at the another side are constituted by respective tubular members ( 22 ,  23 ) containing at least a portion of the uprights ( 20 ,  21 ) of the respective sides and they are fit to interconnect respectively the upper arm means ( 9 ) and the lower arm means ( 11 ) to one side and the upper arm means ( 10 ) and lower arm means ( 12 ) to the other side. 
   
   
       8 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the second hinge means ( 24 ,  25 ,  26 ,  27 ) for connecting the arm means ( 9 ,  10 ,  11 ,  12 ) to the furniture ( 2 ) are fixed to the upper portion ( 3 ) and/or the lower portion ( 4 ). 
   
   
       9 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 8  characterized in that in the hiding condition (O) and access condition (A) the first upper hinge means ( 16 ,  18 ) and/or the lower hinge means ( 17 ,  19 ) form with the corresponding second upper hinge means ( 24 ,  25 ) and lower hinge means ( 26 ,  27 ) vertex of respective rhomb. 
   
   
       10 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 7  characterized in that the geometric segments comprised between the first upper hinge means ( 16 ,  18 )and/or the first lower hinge means ( 17 ,  19 ) are orthogonal and divide in equal parts the geometric segments comprised between the second upper hinge means ( 24 ,  25 ) and lower hinge means ( 26 ,  27 ). 
   
   
       11 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the at least a space ( 6 ) comprises at least one among shelf, drawer, pull-out drawer, rack, bottle rack and similar. 
   
   
       12 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the arm means ( 9 ,  10 ,  11 ,  12 ) are shaped in form of a very opened “V”. 
   
   
       13 ) The rotary piece of furniture according to  claim 1  characterized in that the arm means ( 9 ,  10 ,  11 ,  12 ) are straight shaped.
