Abstract

The invention concerns a control device for an information display including a video sensor for receiving image information a processor for determining control information within said image information, wherein subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display is dependent upon the origin of the received image information as determined by the control information. In addition, a system, a method and a program product are also targets of the present invention.

1 . A control device for an information display including—a video sensor for receiving image information,
 a processor for determining control information within said image information, wherein subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display is dependent upon the origin of the received image information as determined by the control information.   
   
   
       2 . A control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display includes data transmission from the information display to the control device. 
   
   
       3 . A control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that in the subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display includes data transmission from the control device to the information display. 
   
   
       4 . A control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display includes data transmission concerning control commands of the information display. 
   
   
       5 . A control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the control device is adapted to determine data (x 1 , y 1 , wid, hei, gx, gy) continuously from the control information in order to determine a continuous stream of locations on the information display.

A control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the processor is adapted to recognize setting information from the image information from which connection setting data of the information display is adapted to be formed for the data transmission between the control device and the information display. 
   
   
       7 . Control device according to  claim 5 , characterized in that specific movements of the control device are arranged to be used as an interaction method with the information display which movements are arranged to be determined from the continuous stream of locations.

Control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that in addition to the origin of the received image information the subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display is dependent upon the orientation of the control device determined from the control information of the received image information.

Control device according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the control device includes at least two or several video sensors arranged to the control device in such a manner that the image information received by at least one video sensor includes control information regardless of the attitude of the control device. 
   
   
       10 . A portable computer comprising the control device according to  claim 1 . 
   
   
       11 . A portable transmission device comprising the control device according to  claim 1 . 
   
   
       12 . Information display system including
 an information device arrangement, which includes at least one information display and   at least one control device for an information device arrangement including a video sensor for receiving image information and a processor for determining control information within said image information, wherein subsequent data transmission between the control device and the information device arrangement is dependent upon the origin of the received image information as determined by the control information.   
   
   
       13 . Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that in the system data (xl, yl, wid, hei, gx, gy) is adapted to be determined from the control information continuously in order to determine a continuous stream of locations on the information display.

Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that the subsequent data transmission between the control device and the information display is dependent of the orientation of the control device relative to the control information determined from the received image information. 
   
   
       15 . Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that the control information is formed by visually encoded control elements the detection of which are based on the orientation.

Information display system according to  claim 15 , characterized in that the visually encoded control elements are adapted to form control element groups each of which control element group including a plurality of control elements and which control element groups are arranged to form a control pattern entity arranged in a set manner from which the origin of the image information can be determined.

Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that said data (xl, yl, wid, hei, gx, gy) concerning the origin of the received image information includes information on the place (xl, yl) and size (hei, wid) of the control information in the received image information, which said information (xl, yl, hei, wid) and the size (vf_hei, vf_wid) of the image information are adapted to be transmitted at least partly to the information device arrangement in order to control that.

Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that said data (xl, yl, wid, hei, gx, gy) concerning the origin of the received image information includes information of the reference points (TL, TR, BL, BR) of the control information by using of which the orientation of the control device relative to the reference orientation set for it is arranged to be determined. 
   
   
       19 . Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that the origin of the received image information is exterior to the information surface. 
   
   
       20 . Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that the control information and information (INFO) visualised by the information device arrangement are adapted for visualisation on a common information surface. 
   
   
       21 . Information display system according to  claim 20 , characterized in that the control information is adapted to be merged by the information device arrangement into the information (INFO) adapted to be visualised on the information surface. 
   
   
       22 . Information display system according to  claim 20 , characterized in that the control information can be faded from the information surface. 
   
   
       23 . Information display system according to  claim 20 , characterized in that the control information is adapted for visualisation on the information surface by using a wavelength range invisible to the human eye. 
   
   
       24 . Information display system according to  claim 12 , characterized in that the expression of the control information is adapted to the detection characteristics of the video sensor.

Information display system according to  claim 20 , characterized in that the expression of the control and/or setting information is adapted for comparison with the expression of the information (INFO) presented on the information surface and/or with the expression of the background of the information surface, and if their difference does not meet a criterion according to the setting, the destined expression is adapted for a change in order to bring about a difference.

Information display device arranged to be controlled by a control device which control device includes a video sensor for receiving image information and a processor for determining control information within said image information, characterized in that the information display device is arranged to be controlled by using the control device which controlling is dependent upon the origin of the received image information as determined by the control information. 
   
   
       27 . Method for controlling an information display by a control device in which by the control device
 image information is received,   control information within said image information is determined, and wherein subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display is performed depending upon the origin of the received image information as determined by the control information.   
   
   
       28 . Method according to  claim 26 , characterized in that the control information is formed by visually encoded control elements the detection of which are based on the orientation.

Method according to  claim 28 , characterized in that the visually encoded control elements form control element groups each of which control element group including a plurality of control elements and which control element groups form a control pattern entity arranged in a set manner from which the origin of the image information can be determined.

Method according to  claim 27 , characterized in that from the image information setting information is arranged to be determined, from which connection setting data of the information display is formed in order to carry out subsequent data transmission between the control device and the information display. 
   
   
       31 . Method according to  claim 27 , characterized in that the control information and information (INFO) presented by the information display are visualised on a common information display. 
   
   
       32 . Method according to  claim 31 , characterized in that the control information is merged into the information (INFO) to be visualised by the information display.

Program product for controlling an information display, where controlling of the information display is adapted to be carried out by a control device, whereby the program product includes a memory (MEMI), which can be fitted in connection with the control device, and a programme code, which can be executed by a processor of the control device and which is written in the memory (MEMI), characterized in that the programme code is adapted as input to receive image information including control information which image information is formed by at least one video sensor of the control device, and the programme code includes—code configured to perform subsequent data transmission between said control device and said information display that data transmission is dependent upon the origin of the received image information as determined by the control information.
