Abstract

A headband cushioning apparatus of a soft and resilient material having a hollow body with an aperture at one end of hollow body and an enclosure on another end of said hollow body, where pressure exists from contact of a headband behind the ears of a wearer by sliding over the distal end of a device and secured by pressure against the head of a wearer, for all types of headbands and other devices such as eyeglasses, and method of use by inserting the tips of a headband into the aperture of the cushioning device before wearing the headband.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A headband cushioning apparatus comprising a soft and resilient material, said material having an hollow body; an aperture at one end of said hollow body; and an enclosure on another end of said hollow body, wherein pressure exists from contact of a headband behind the ears of a wearer.

2 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , comprising the thickness of said hollow body is the same as measured from the apparatus to the enclosed end.

3 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , comprising an overall length of the cushioning apparatus to minimize and/or eliminate view of said apparatus from behind the ear.

4 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising attachment points for adding interchangeable decorative pieces that hang and/or protrude from behind the ear for decorative effect.

5 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said soft resilient material includes fabric, neoprene, gels, pliable plastics and/or spongy material.

6 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said cushioning apparatus further comprises a compartment at least partially filled with a liquid or gel composition.

7 . The apparatus according to claim 4 , comprising a hook and loop attachments points fastening system, wherein said ornaments are attached in a hook and loop fashion.

8 . The apparatus according to claim 7 , wherein said attachment points comprise a layer of small hoops or small loops, wherein said attachment points connect an ornamental device comprising hoops or small loops.

9 . The apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein said soft and resilient material comprises nylon or polyester.

10 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said soft and resilient material is stretchable.

11 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said device is semi-rigid.

12 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein pressure behind the ear is dissipated throughout the shape.

13 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said hollow body is shaped as a cone or tube.

14 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said hollow body is in a decorative shape.

15 . The apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said hollow body is elongated.
