Abstract
A personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device has amounting plate with mount elements, and upper compartment and a lower compartment. The upper compartment stores a plurality of wipes and has an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper compartment has at least two apertures therein, each configured for dispensing some of the wipes therethrough. Engaging elements on the upper compartment engage some of the mount elements to secure the upper compartment to the mounting plate. The lower compartment stores a waste receptacle. A door is present on an upper surface, opposing the upper compartment lower surface. Engaging elements engage some of the mount elements to secure the lower compartment to the mounting plate. A locking bar is disposed on the mounting plate, between the upper and lower compartments, and is configured to lock the upper and lower compartments to the mounting plate. The compartments are removed from the mounting plate by disengaging the compartment from the locking bar and disengaging the engaging elements from their cooperating mounting plate mounting elements.

a mounting plate having mount elements; an upper compartment for storing a plurality of wipes, the upper compartment having an upper surface and a lower surface, the upper compartment having at least two apertures therein, each configured for dispensing some of the wipes therethrough, the upper compartment having engaging elements for engaging some of the mount elements to secure the upper compartment to the mounting plate; a lower compartment for storing a waste receptacle, the lower compartment having a door on an upper surface, opposing the upper compartment lower surface, the lower compartment having engaging elements for engaging some of the mount elements to secure the lower compartment to the mounting plate; a locking bar disposed on the mounting plate, between the upper and lower compartments, the locking bar configured to lock the “upper” and lower compartments to the mounting plate, wherein the upper compartment is removed from the mounting plate by disengaging the upper compartment from the locking bar and disengaging the upper compartment engaging elements from their cooperating mounting plate mounting elements to place wipes in the upper compartment, and wherein the lower compartment is removed from the mounting plate by disengaging the lower compartment from the locking bar and disengaging the lower compartment engaging elements from their cooperating mounting plate mounting elements to access the waste receptacle in the lower compartment.
2 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein some of the wipes are wet wipes and others of the wipes are dry wipes, the wet wipes and the dry wipes being separated from each other and dispensed through separate apertures.
3 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 2 wherein the wet wipes and the dry wipes are disposed in side-by-side relation to one another and wherein the apertures are disposed on the upper compartment upper surface.

The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 2 wherein the wet wipes and the dry wipes are disposed in an upper and lower configuration, and wherein the apertures are disposed on the upper compartment upper surface and on the upper compartment lower surface.
5 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein the locking bar includes resilient latches that engage the upper and lower compartments to engage the upper and lower compartments to lock the upper and lower compartments to the locking bar.
6 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 6 wherein the latches are formed integral with the locking bar.
7 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 6 wherein the latches are positioned in the locking bar.
8 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein the mounting plate mount elements are formed as rails and wherein the upper and lower compartment engaging elements are tabs configured for cooperative engagement with the mount elements.
9 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 8 wherein the engaging elements slidably cooperate with the mount elements.
10 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein the upper compartment lower surface and the lower compartment upper surface are angled away from one another.
11 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein the lower compartment door is biased to a closed state.
12 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 11 wherein the bias is provided by a spring.
13 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein the upper compartment and the lower compartment have front and side walls and wherein one or both of the front and side walls have a band fitted therein.
14 . The personal hygiene wipe dispenser and waste receptacle device in accordance with claim 1 wherein the upper compartment and the lower compartment have front and side walls and wherein the junctures of the front walls and upper and lower walls and the junctures of the side walls and the upper and lower walls are rounded.
