Folding container

Abstract

A container having a body portion and capable of being deployed between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration. The body portion comprises a lower base member, an upper member and two opposing foldable walls arranged between said base member and said upper member. The container further comprises a flexible member which forms a holding pouch within the body portion of the container in the unfolded configuration and which is attached to the body portion.

A container having a body portion and capable of being deployed between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration, the body portion comprising a lower base member, an upper member and two opposing foldable or hingeable walls arranged between the base member and the upper member wherein the container further comprising a flexible member which forms a holding pouch within the body portion of the container in the unfolded configuration and which is attached to the body portion and wherein movement of the container into the folded configuration pushes the flexible member up out of the container. 
   
   
       2 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the container comprises two further opposing walls, each of which is flexibly attached to one of the upper and base member. 
   
   
       3 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the foldable walls are flexibly attached to the upper member and lower base member. 
   
   
       4 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the flexible member is attached to an attachment means provided by the upper member. 
   
   
       5 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the flexible member is attached to an attachment means provided by a wall of the container. 
   
   
       6 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the flexible member is attached to the body of the container by ultrasonic welding, adhesion technology or friction bonding. 
   
   
       7 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein when the container is in the folded configuration, the container is capable of accommodating the flexible member in a space defined by the folded walls and the upper member. 
   
   
       8 . A container according to  claim 1  wherein the body portion, and/or the flexible member are made of plastics material. 
   
   
       9 . A container according to  claim 8  wherein the plastics material is transparent. 
   
   
       10 . A container according to  claim 1  further comprising a lid portion. 
   
   
       11 . A container according to  claim 10  wherein the lid is made of plastics material. 
   
   
       12 . A container according to  claim 11  wherein the plastics material is transparent.
