Toothbrush

Abstract

A toothbrush grip handle made of a plastics material including one or plural voids having an opening at the surface of the grip handle and at least partly closed by a film material.

A toothbrush grip handle made of a plastics material, connected or connectable to a toothbrush head bearing oral cleaning elements, characterised by the handle including one or plural voids Shaving an opening at the surface of the grip handle, and said void(s) being at least partly closed by a film materials. 
   
   
       2 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 1  wherein each void comprises a cell partly bounded by walls of the plastics material of which the grip handle is made, and partly bounded by the film material. 
   
   
       3 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 1  wherein there are plural voids in the grip handle. 
   
   
       4 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 3  wherein the grip handle is elongate and plural voids are arranged serially along the longitudinal direction of the elongate toothbrush grip handle. 
   
   
       5 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 4  wherein plural voids are separated from each other by bulkhead walls of the plastics material of which the grip handle is made. 
   
   
       6 . A toothbrush grip handle according to   claim 1  wherein the void(s) make up 30% or more of the internal volume of the grip handle of the toothbrush. 
   
   
       7 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 3  wherein plural voids are all be open on the same surface of the grip handle. 
   
   
       8 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 1  wherein the film material comprises a flexible film of a plastics material, a metal toil, a paper or paper-based material, or a laminate, of two or more of these previously mentioned materials. 
   
   
       9 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 1  wherein the film material is water resistant. 
   
   
       10 . A toothbrush grip handle according to  claim 1  wherein the film material is attached to the grip handle by shrink-wrapping or an adhesive or by welding. 
   
   
       11 . A toothbrush comprising a grip handle according to  claim 1  combined with a toothbrush head.
