Abstract
The present invention provides compositions for the protection against electromagnetic radiation. The compositions include a polymeric material including a poyamide such as nylon 6 or nylon 6, 6, barium sulfate and magnesium sulfate. The polymeric material upon exposure to incident electromagnetic radiation emits subtle electromagnetic oscillations at probiotic frequencies that counter adverse effects of incident electromagnetic radiation. The polymeric material may be formed into a protective housing for electronic devices and may be formed into protective fabrics.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A polymeric material to reduce adverse effects of electromagnetic radiation exposure to a human, animal or plant body, comprising:
a) a polyamide comprising nylon 6 or nylon 6, 6; b) barium sulfate; and c) magnesium sulfate; wherein the polymeric material upon exposure to incident electromagnetic radiation emits subtle electromagnetic oscillations at probiotic frequencies that counter adverse effects of said incident electromagnetic radiation on the human, animal or plant body.
2 . The polymeric material according to claim 1 , comprising a weight ratio of about ten (10) parts by weight polyamide, about two (2) parts by weight barium sulfate, and about one (1) part by weight magnesium sulfate.
3 . The polymeric material according to claim 1 , wherein said polyamide is covalently bonded to said barium sulfate and said magnesium sulfate.
4 . The polymeric material according to claim 3 , wherein said polyamide is covalently bonded to said barium sulfate and said magnesium sulfate by ester linkages.
5 . The polymeric material according to claim 1 , further comprising a dye.
6 . The polymeric material according to claim 1 , formed as a solid body.
7 . The polymeric material according to claim 6 , wherein said solid body forms at least a portion of a housing for an electronic device.
8 . The polymeric material according to claim 7 , wherein said electronic device is a household appliance.
9 . The polymeric material according to claim 7 , wherein said electronic device is selected from the group consisting of a wireless telephone, a cordless telephone, an audio player, a wireless headset, a headphone, a computer, and a television.
10 . The polymeric material according to claim 1 , formed as a fiber.
11 . The polymeric material according to claim 9 , wherein said fiber is woven into a fabric.
12 . A housing for an electronic device capable of protecting a user against electromagnetic radiation emitted from the electronic device comprising:
a) a polyamide comprising nylon 6 or nylon 6, 6; b) barium sulfate; and c) magnesium sulfate; wherein the housing upon exposure to incident electromagnetic radiation emits subtle electromagnetic oscillations at probiotic frequencies that protect the user against said incident electromagnetic radiation.
13 . The housing according to claim 11 , wherein said polyamide, said barium sulfate and said magnesium sulfate are provided in a weight ratio of about ten ( 10 ) parts by weight polyamide, about two (2) parts by weight barium sulfate, and about one (1) part by weight magnesium sulfate.
14 . The housing according to claim 12 , further comprising a dye.
15 . The housing according to claim 12 , wherein said housing houses an electronic device.
16 . The housing according to claim 15 , wherein said electronic device is selected from the group consisting of a wireless telephone, a cordless telephone, an audio player, a wireless headset, a headphone, a computer, and a television.
17 . A fabric for the protection of a user against exposure to electromagnetic radiation comprising:
a) a polyamide comprising nylon 6 or nylon 6, 6; b) barium sulfate; and c) magnesium sulfate; wherein said fabric upon exposure to incident electromagnetic radiation emits subtle electromagnetic oscillations at probiotic frequencies that protect the user against said incident electromagnetic radiation.
18 . The fabric according to claim 15 , wherein said polyamide, said barium sulfate and said magnesium sulfate are provided in a weight ratio of about ten (10) parts by weight polyamide, about two (2) parts by weight barium sulfate, and about one (1) part by weight magnesium sulfate.
19 . The fabric according to claim 15 , further comprising a dye.
20 . A wireless telephone comprising a housing according to claim 12 .Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
