Abstract

A device for deterring behavior of pets which is a laminate of a reflective plastic layer having a thickness of about 0.5 to 10.0 mils and capable of making a sound when the sheet is flexed, a fibrous layer, and a decorative fabric layer, where the layers are joined together to form the device.

1 . A device for deterring behavior of pets comprising:
 a reflective plastic layer having a thickness of about 0.5 to 10.0 mils and capable of making a sound when said sheet is flexed,   a fibrous layer, and   a decorative fabric layer,   said layers being joined together for form said device.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the plastic layer is a polyester. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the plastic layer is 0.5 to 6 mils thick. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the reflective plastic layer is a metalized plastic sheet. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the reflective plastic layer is an aluminized polyester sheet. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the fibrous layer is non-woven cotton batting. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the fibrous layer is 1 to 20 centimeters thick. 
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the decorative fabric layer is 0.5 to 5 centimeters thick. 
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 1  wherein fibrous layer is impregnated with a non-toxic pet repellant. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the layers are stitched together around their periphery.
