Bags with removable liners

Abstract

A removable liner for various bags and containers that can be easily removed and replaced with a clean removable liner. The removable liner is a barrier which protects the exterior bag from the contents of the bag and can be removed or can be kept in place permanently. An integrated, interior lip-flap is positioned within the bag to hold the removable liner securely in place.

1 . A bag with an integrally fitted, removable liner, the bag comprising:
 an exterior bag having a lip around an opening, a bottom, an interior face, and an exterior face, the exterior bag comprising:
 an integrated, interior lip-flap that releasably secures the removable liner at the lip around the opening of the exterior bag by insertion of the removable liner under the integrated, interior lip-flap, 
   wherein the integrated, interior lip-flap extends around the perimeter of the lip at the opening of the exterior bag and folds towards the bottom of the exterior bag and over a seam between the removable liner and the lip to secure the removable liner to the interior face of the exterior bag.   
   
   
       2 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the removable liner that is secured into interior fully covers the interior face of the exterior bag. 
   
   
       3 . The bag of  claim 1 , further comprising a means for securing the removable liner in place at the perimeter of the opening of bag under the integrated, interior lip-flap. 
   
   
       4 . The bag of  claim 3 , wherein the removable liner is held releasably secure by insertion under the integrated, interior lip-flap of the exterior bag and held in place frictionally. 
   
   
       5 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the lip-flap further comprises:
 a wire element embedded within the integrated, interior lip-flap being conformable to the interior contours of the exterior bag to hold the removable liner in place.   
   
   
       6 . The bag of  claim 1 , where the lip-flap further comprises:
 a fastening means on the lip-flap that is attachably engaged with a fastening means on the interior face of the removable liner when the lip-flap is folded towards the bottom of the exterior bag and over the seam between the removable liner and the lip.   
   
   
       7 . The lip-flap of  claim 6 , wherein the fastening means on the lip-flap and on the interior face of the exterior bag include hook and loop fasteners. 
   
   
       8 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the exterior bag includes a closure device at the perimeter edge of the receiving portion of the exterior bag to prevent release of contents of the bag during transport. 
   
   
       9 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the exterior bag is a pouch. 
   
   
       10 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the exterior bag is a tote. 
   
   
       11 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the exterior bag is a case. 
   
   
       12 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the removable liner is made of a washable material. 
   
   
       13 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the removable liner is made of a washable fabric. 
   
   
       14 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the removable liner includes organizer compartments. 
   
   
       15 . The bag of  claim 1 , further comprising handle members attached to the exterior of the exterior bag. 
   
   
       16 . The bag of  claim 1 , wherein the opening of the exterior bag can be closed by a closure device. 
   
   
       17 . An integrated interior lip-flap attached at the perimeter edge of the receiving portion of the exterior bag, configured to fold into the exterior bag and over the removable liner to releasably secure the removable liner in position within the exterior bag. 
   
   
       18 . The integrated interior lip-flap of  claim 17 , wherein the integrated interior lip-flap is an extension of the bag material of the exterior bag configured to fold over the perimeter edge and fold into the exterior bag to releasably secure the removable liner in position within the exterior bag. 
   
   
       19 . The integrated interior lip-flap of  claim 17 , wherein the lip-flap further comprises:
 a wire element embedded within the integrated, interior lip-flap being conformable to the interior contours of the exterior bag to hold the removable liner in place.
