Abstract

An adjustable length storage bag which is constructed of a substantially transparent plastic sleeve that has a first end equipped with the zipper-type closure device and a second end equipped with an adhesive layer on an inner periphery of the sleeve for adhesively joining a second bag in order to store food items of a larger length.

1 . An adjustable length storage bag comprising:
 a substantially transparent plastic sleeve having a first end and a second end;   a zipper type closure device at said first end, and   an adhesive layer on an inner periphery of said second end having a depth of at least ⅛ inch measured from said second end for joining said bag to a second storage bag when a larger length is required.   
   
   
       2 . The adjustable length storage bag according to  claim 1  further comprising a strip of release film on said adhesive layer. 
   
   
       3 . The adjustable length storage bag according to  claim 1 , wherein said adhesive layer having a depth of at least ¼ inch. 
   
   
       4 . The adjustable length storage bag according to  claim 1 , wherein said adhesive layer having a depth of at least ⅜ inch. 
   
   
       5 . The adjustable length storage bag according to  claim 1 , wherein said substantially transparent plastic sleeve is formed of a clear plastic film.
