Abstract
An acoustic treatment nesting corner mount for mounting acoustic panels in a corner of a room. The nesting corner mount allows for the installation of two or more acoustic treatments, nested one behind the other, in a corner of a room to enhance the acoustics of the room.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A bracket for installing a pair of acoustic treatments across the diagonal of a room corner wherein the pair of acoustic treatments are positioned one behind the other in a nested fashion.
2 . A bracket for installing more than two concatenated acoustic treatments across the diagonal of a room corner wherein the concatenated acoustic treatments are positioned one behind the other in a nested fashion.
3 . A bracket comprising a face panel mount, an upper edge, a lower edge, a right side angled corner mount member, a left side angled corner mount member, and two angled nested panel mount extensions, each angled nested panel extension extending from the right and left side angled corner mount member, respectively,
the face panel mount having a right side angled edge and a left side angled edge, the right side angled corner mount member extending from the right side angled edge at a 45 degree angle from the face panel mount, and the left side angled corner mount member extending from the left side angled edge at a 45 degree angle from the face panel mount, the right and left side angled corner mount members each angled such that each angled corner mount will lay flush with a wall in a corner of a room, allowing the bracket to be securely attached to a corner of a room, a first slot is disposed in each angled corner mount, beginning at the lower edge and extending, perpendicular to the lower edge, a sufficient distance to allow secure attachment of the bracket to the respective walls of the corner of the room, each angled nested panel mount extension being angled inward, towards the face panel mount at an angle of 45 degrees from the right and left angled corner mounts, respectively, thereby being perpendicular to the face panel mount, a plurality of second slots are disposed in the face panel mount beginning at the lower edge and extending, perpendicular to the lower edge, a sufficient distance to allow secure attachment of a panel to the bracket, a plurality of holes are disposed in the face panel mount to facilitate easy access to mounting hardware means placed into the wall, whereby mounting hardware means are placed into each wall of a corner and the bracket is slid onto the mounting hardware means by sliding the first slots onto the mounting hardware means, the mounting hardware means are tightened thereby securing the bracket to the wall, a nested panel is secured to the angled nested panel mount extensions and a panel is secured to the face panel mount in front of the nested panel by sliding securing means on the panel into the second slots on the face panel mount.
4 . The bracket of claim 3 wherein the bracket is a one-piece member made of sheet metal.
5 . The bracket of claim 4 wherein the bracket has a width of 3.5 inches, and each first slot has a width of 0.25 inches and a length of 2.38 inches and each is located 1.84 inches from the right and left side angled edges, respectively, and each second slot has a width of 0.25 inches and a length of 1.375 inches and each is located 8.375 inches from the right and left side angled edges, respectively.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
