Abstract

A towel rack has a front section, multiple transversal rods and two positioning elements. The front section is U-shaped with two side tubes and is formed by a soldered metal tube. Multiple engaging holes are defined on inner sides of the side tubes of the front section in pairs so that each transversal rod is inserted into a pair of the engaging holes for assembly. Each positioning element is a rod with a semicircular cross-section and is inserted into the side tube to abut the ends of the transversal rods for compressing and positioning the transversal rods. Thereby, the towel rack is easy in processing and assembly to improve utility.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A towel rack comprising:
 a front section comprising a middle tube and two side tubes soldered together as a single unseparate clement to be U-shaped, with multiple through engaging holes defined on the two side tubes in pairs; multiple transversal rods attached between the two side tubes by inserting ends of the transversal rods into the engaging holes in pairs; and two positioning elements being strips, with each of the two positioning elements inserted into a corresponding one of the two side tubes to abut the ends of the transversal rods received in the engaging holes of the two side tubes.

       2 . The towel rack as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:
 two bases respectively attached to the two side tubes; and two connecting pieces, each of the two connecting pieces engaged to a corresponding one of the side tubes and mounted between the positioning element and the base.

       3 . The towel rack as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein each of the two side tubes on the front section has an opening end and an inner thread defined in the opening end;
 each of the two connecting pieces has an outer thread to engage to the inner thread in the opening end of the front section.

       4 . The towel rack as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein each of the two connecting pieces is a pillar stub and has non-round bulge with a threaded hole defined in the non-round bulge;
 each of the two bases is a round cap and has a top face, a non-round recess defined on the top face to correspond to the non-round bulge, and a locking hole defined in a bottom of the non-round recess through the base.

       5 . The towel rack as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the multiple transversal rods has a distance substantially equal to a distance between two axle centers of the two side tubes and in parallel to the middle tube.

       6 . The towel rack as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the two positioning elements is a strip with a semicircular cross-section.

       7 . The towel rack as claimed in claim 6 , wherein each of the two positioning elements has first and second ends, with a stop formed at the first end and a guiding surface defined at the second end.
