Cigarette pack with integral tear away card

Abstract

A cigarette pack made from cardboard paper stock and the like comprises a body portion and a hinge lid portion. The body portion includes a tear away card having a continuous outer boundary with perforations along the boundary to facilitate removal of the tear away card from the pack.

A cigarette pack made from cardboard paper stock and the like comprising a body portion and a top hinge lid portion, and the body portion of the pack including a tear away card having a continuous outer boundary with perforations along the boundary to facilitate removal of the tear away card from the pack. 
   
   
       2 . A cigarette pack as in  claim 1  wherein the body portion of the pack includes front and back panels, and the tear away card is within the back panel. 
   
   
       3 . A cigarette pack as in  claim 1  wherein the tear away card includes graphic material. 
   
   
       4 . A cigarette pack as in  claim 3  wherein the graphic media is selected from the group comprising coupons, product literature, promotional information and bar codes. 
   
   
       5 . A blank of cardboard paper stock and the like for forming a cigarette pack, the blank having a body forming portion and a lid forming portion, the body forming portion including front and back panels integrally connected together by a bottom panel, and the back panel having a tear away card with a continuous outer boundary and perforations along the boundary to facilitate removal of the tear away card from the back panel. 
   
   
       6 . A blank as in  claim 5  wherein the tear away card includes graphic material. 
   
   
       7 . A blank as in  claim 6  wherein the graphic media is selected from the group comprising coupons, product literature, promotional information and bar codes.
