Abstract
Several embodiments FIG. 1 - 29 that are made for fence lines, fence post and driveways, foundations, walkways or concrete structures that prevent the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath areas covered by pods with all having 5″ flat side on either one or both sides depending on property restrictions that allow user to run lawn mowers over flat portions so that after mowing is completed there is no weed eating required. These embodiments save lots of time, work, and lawn maintenance and also greatly enhance lawn or yard beauty for users.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A new use compromising of high uv plastic that is ½″ thick and adjustable in width from 14″ wide to 17″ wide and comes in two pieces that connect together to create adjustable fence groove portion of fence pod, and these sections come in 8′ and 10′ lengths. This embodiment prevents the growth of grass, weeds or other from growing underneath areas covered by plastic fence pods.
. This embodiment also consist of a 5″ flat side on both outside edges of pod when both pieces are connected together with ¼″ holes located every 3′ for spikes to be placed to stabilize fence pod.
. This embodiment is also to contain a 2″ wide by 2½″ tall slope up portion with ⅛″ wire holes for wire to be placed to stabilize fence to fence pod on inside two portions of slope up. These wire holes are placed every 1′ apart.
. A new use compromising of high uv resistant plastic that is ½″ thick and is made for property restricted use that also prevents the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath areas covered by fence pods.
. This embodiment also has 5″ flat side on one side with 1′4″ spike holes for spikes to be placed to stabilize fence pods to surface of ground.
. This embodiment shall also contain 2″ by 2½″ tall slope up portion with ⅛″ wire holes to wire fence to to stabilize wire or chain link to fence pods.
. A new use compromising of high uv resistant plastic that is ½″ thick and made for the less costly application. This embodiment is also made to prevent the growth of grass, weeds, or other from underneath areas covered by fence pods.
. this embodiment shall also have ¼″ spike holes every 3′ for spikes to be placed to stabilize fence pod to surface of ground. This embodiment is 14″ wide and also comes in 8′ and 10′ sections
. A new use compromising of high uv resistant plastic that is ½″ thick and comes in two piece units that are made for 2″, 3″, and 4″×4″ post and are made to prevent the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath areas covered by fence post pods.
. this embodiment also contains ⅛″ thick overlap portions with ¼″ spike holes for spikes to be placed to stabilize post pod to surface of ground.
. A new use compromising of high uv resistant plastic that is ½″ thick and is designed for property restricted use that also prevents the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath areas covered by post pods.
. This embodiment shall also have ⅛″ thick over lap portions with spike holes ¼″ diameter for spikes to be placed to stabilize post pod to surface of ground.
. A new use compromising of high uv resistant plastic that is ½″ thick and is made to prevent the growth of grass, weeds or other from growing underneath areas covered by driveway or concrete structured objects that also prevents the growth of grass, weeds or other from growing underneath areas covered by driveway pods.
. this embodiment shall also contain a 5″ flat side with ¼″ spike holes for spikes to be placed to stabilize driveway pod to surface of ground.
. This embodiment shall also contain the 2″ by 2½″ tall slope up portion of driveway pod.
. This embodiment shall also contain a ½″ wide drive lip for pod to be driven into ground along side driveway or concrete structure.
. This embodiment shall also have a 7″ tapered edge to drive in along side concrete structure
. A new use compromising of galvanized steel that is made to stabilize fence pods, post pods, and driveway pods to surface of ground by driving galvanized spike into ground.
. this embodiment shall consist of a 10″ tapered shank with a ½″ drive head.
. Soil grabbing hooks or prongs to grasp and stabilize spike when driven into ground.
. A high UV resistant plastic elongated rectangular shaped comprising of adjustable center fence groove referred to as a fence pod, that is ½″ thick has a flat side on both sides and a slope up portion creating the fence groove that has tie down holes provided as well as spike holes for stabilizing fence pod under fence line. This fence pod also comes with property restricted use which comprises of a single flat side on one side and a slope up portion with a 2″ flat for fence to be placed on top of. This fence pod also comes in just a flat piece or section that has spike holes only. All three different fence pods come in lengths of 8′ and 10′ and are used as a means of preventing the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath the areas covered by the fence pods.
. The fence pods of claim 1 to come in double sided fence line application consisting of an adjustable center fence groove with holes every 1′ apart to wire wire fences to to stabilize fence line bottom to fence pod.
. The fence pods of claim 1 shall also come in restricted property line use with a single flat side and a slope up portion to butt against fence and a 2″ flat for fence to set on top of. These have spike holes on one side.
. The fence pods of claim 1 to also come in a plain flat section that is 10″ wide and can adapt to both double sided fence applications or single sided property restricted applications that come with spike holes on both sides of fence pods.
. A high UV resistant plastic that is also rectangular shaped that shall be referred to as a post pod that is placed around fence post to prevent the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath areas covered by post pods. These pods are also made for double sided coverage as well as single sided coverage or property restricted use and also have corner post pods for fence line corners all having spikes and some coming in two piece design and also one piece design with spike holes.
. The fence post pod of claim 5 to come in double sided and single sided applications with 2″, 3″, and 4×4 post design or cut outs.
. A high UV resistant plastic rectangular shaped with a 6″ lip pointing vertically down that is used as a means of driving into ground the shape we will refer to as driveway and foundation pod. This pod provides a drive lip that is ½″ wide over vertical 6″ lip that is used as a means to provide area where pod can be hammered along side of concrete structure with rubber hammer. These pods also have spike holes every 3′ and a flat side 4″ wide and also come in lengths of 10′ and 12′ lengths and have a spacer or gap cover made of ⅛″ plastic that is inserted inbetween sections when installed. These pods are also designed to prevent the growth of grass, weeds, or other from growing underneath areas covered by pods.
. The driveway and foundation pod of claim 7 to also come with a spacer or gap cover that is placed inbetween two pods being connected when installed. These spacers are used as a means of preventing grass, weeds, or other from growing up through connected pieces of driveway pods.
. A galvanized steel tapered rod with hooks referred to as a spike that has a ½″ drive head at one end and a point at the other with soil grabbing hooks placed along the shank of the spike.
