Abstract
An adjustable leg, collapsible sawhorse, wherein roller-style attachments are secured to multi-jointed, pivotable arms that are slidably related to the sawhorse support structure, wherein the roller-style attachments facilitate upload, support, cut and offload of a large workpiece, such as a 4′×8′ sheet of plywood, by a single person, and wherein the roller-style attachments hang unobstructively below the sawhorse support surface when not in use.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A multi-positional sawhorse device, comprising:
an elongate support member; two pairs of legs carried by said elongate support member; and at least one roller arm carried by said elongate support member and capable of bi-directional pivotal extension relative to the length of said elongate support member.
2 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein said two pairs of legs further comprise length-adjustment features.
3 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein each said pair of said two pairs of legs further comprises a cross-support arm pivotally carried by one said leg of each said pair, wherein said two pairs of legs are pivotally carried by said elongate support member, and wherein each said cross-support arm is adapted to extend between and support one said pair of legs in a triangular configuration.
4 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein each said at least one roller arm is adjustably carried relative to the length of said elongate support member.
5 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein each said at least one roller arm further comprises positional locking features, wherein said bi-directional pivotal extension of each said at least one roller arm is selectively lockable, and wherein selectable positions comprise a first position perpendicular to the length of said elongate support member, a second position also perpendicular to the length of said elongate support member but opposingly directed relative to said first position, and a third position also perpendicular to the length of said elongate support member but extending therebelow and also perpendicular to said first and second positions.
6 . The sawhorse device of claim 4 , wherein said elongate support member further comprises an upper support surface, an underside, and at least one track carried coincident with the length thereof proximate said underside, and wherein said sawhorse device further comprises at least one accessory slidably carried within said at least one track.
7 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein said bi-directional pivotal extension of each said at least one roller arm relative to the length of said elongate support member is facilitated by a first arm length carried by said elongate support member, wherein each said at least one roller arm further comprises a second arm length pivotally carried by said first arm length, and wherein said second arm length is bi-directionally pivotal relative to the length of said first arm length.
8 . The sawhorse device of claim 7 , wherein said first arm length of each said at least one roller arm is adapted to pivot within at least a 180° range of motion relative to said elongate support member and wherein said second arm length of each said at least one roller arm is adapted to pivot within at least a 180° range of motion relative to said first arm length.
9 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein said elongate support member further comprises length adjustable features defined by two outer support members and an inner support member extendably housed therewithin, wherein a selected extension of said inner support member is positionally lockable.
10 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein each said adjustable feature is locked via at least one resilient, friction fit button.
11 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein each said at least one roller arm further comprises a roller tension-adjustment mechanism.
12 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein said elongate support member further comprises a slip-resistant support surface and wherein each said leg further comprises a slip-resistant foot.
13 . The sawhorse device of claim 6 , wherein said at least one accessory is selected from the group consisting of a roller arm and an attachment plate for a table saw, contractor saw, or miter saw.
14 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , further comprising an on-board power outlet.
15 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , further comprising organizational hangers for tools.
16 . The sawhorse device of claim 1 , wherein each said at least one roller arm can pivot and lock into a plurality of positions relative to said elongate support member, wherein said plurality of positions further comprise positions on either side relative to the length of said elongate support member and above, within, and below the plane of an upper surface of said elongate support member.
17 . The sawhorse device of claim 2 , wherein said length adjustable features of each said leg of said two pairs of legs further comprise an inner leg telescopingly related to an outer leg, wherein the selected positional relationship of said inner and outer legs is lockable.
18 . The sawhorse device of claim 6 , further comprising at least one bracket adapted for slidably lockable positioning relative to said at least one track, wherein said at least one accessory is said roller arm, and wherein said at least one roller arm is carried by said at least one bracket.
19 . The sawhorse device of claim 6 , further comprising two said tracks in a parallel relationship and further comprising two roller arms adjustably positioned within each said track.
20 . A sawhorse device, comprising:
a length-adjustable elongate support member; two pairs of length-adjustable legs pivotally carried by said elongate support member; at least one mount track carried proximate an underside of said elongate support member; at least one bracket slidably and lockably positioned within said at least one mount track; and at least one jointed roller arm pivotally carried by said at least one bracket at a first end, with a roller at a second end, and with a pivotal joint therebetween.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
