Abstract

An automated system ( 100 ) and method for context based management of an organization. After extracting data describing the organization from existing narrowly focused systems, mission measures and organization levels are defined for one or more organizations and the data are transformed into an ontology. The ontology is then used to support the exchange of data with one or more other organizations by a series of applications that are used for reviewing, analyzing, forecasting, planning and optimizing performance for all or part of an organization.
