Abstract
A wireless communication apparatus comprises a selection module to select an application from applications to be run on the apparatus, a movement information generation module to generate movement information indicating positional change of the apparatus by detecting a position of the apparatus, a target selection module to select a counterpart wireless communication apparatus as a connection target from other apparatuses which are wirelessly connectable with the apparatus by referring to a type of the application selected by the selection module and the movement information generated by the movement information generation module, and a wireless communication module wirelessly transmits data handled by the application to the counterpart wireless communication apparatus selected by the target selection module.

a selection module to select an application program from application programs to be run on the apparatus; a movement information generation module to generate movement information indicating positional change of the apparatus by detecting a position of the apparatus; a target selection module to select a counterpart wireless communication apparatus as a connection target from other apparatuses which are wirelessly connectable with the apparatus by referring to a type of the application selected by the selection module and the movement information generated by the movement information generation module; and a wireless communication module to transmit data handled by the application to the counterpart wireless communication apparatus selected by the target selection module.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a storage module to store usage frequency information indicating a frequency of usage of the counterpart wireless communication apparatus,
wherein the target selection module selects the counterpart wireless communication apparatus by referring to the usage frequency information stored in the storage module.
3 . The apparatus of claim 2 further comprising an input module to receive an operation input,
wherein the target selection module selects the counterpart wireless communication apparatus by referring to priority information input through the input module, the priority information indicates a priority of connection to the respective apparatuses wirelessly connectable with the apparatus.
4 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the target selection module selects a new counterpart wireless communication apparatus as the connection target when the selected counterpart wireless communication apparatus is unavailable.
5 . The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the storage module stores the usage frequency information obtained at a certain time of day, and
wherein the target selection module selects the counterpart wireless communication apparatus as the connection target by referring to the usage frequency information associated with the certain time of day, stored in the storage module.
6 . The apparatus of claim 5 further comprising:
a connection target information generation module to generate positional information about the counterpart wireless communication apparatus by referring to the position of the apparatus detected by the movement information generation module; a connection target information registration module to register the positional information generated by the connection target information generation module; and a connection target information updating module to update the positional information by using the movement information being generated by the movement information generation module while the wireless communication with the counterpart wireless communication apparatus.
7 . A wireless communication apparatus comprising:
a storage module to store content data to be handled by the apparatus; a selection module to select content data from the content data stored in the storage module; a movement information generation module to generate movement information indicating positional change of the apparatus by detecting a position of the apparatus; a target selection module to select a counterpart wireless communication apparatus as a connection target from other apparatuses which are wirelessly connectable with the apparatus by referring to a type of the content data selected by the selection module and the movement information generated by the movement information generation module; and a wireless communication module to transmit the content data selected by the selection module to the counterpart wireless communication apparatus selected by the target selection module.

The apparatus of claim 7 further comprising a storage module to store usage frequency information indicating a frequency of usage of the counterpart wireless communication apparatus, and the usage frequency information is updated when the counterpart wireless communication apparatus is disconnected,
wherein the target selection module selects the counterpart wireless communication apparatus by referring to the usage frequency information stored in the storage module.
9 . The apparatus of claim 8 further comprising an input module to receive an operation input,
wherein the target selection module selects the counterpart wireless communication apparatus by referring to priority information input through the input module, the priority information indicates a priority of connection to the respective apparatuses which are wirelessly connectable with the apparatus.
10 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the target selection module selects a new counterpart wireless communication apparatus as the connection target when the selected counterpart wireless communication apparatus is unavailable.
11 . The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein the storage module stores the usage frequency information obtained in each period of time, and
wherein the target selection module periodically selects the counterpart wireless communication apparatus as the connection target by referring to the usage frequency information stored in the storage module.
12 . The apparatus of claim 11 further comprising:
a connection target information generation module to generate positional information about the counterpart wireless communication apparatus by referring to the position of the apparatus detected by the movement information generation module; a connection target information registration module to register the positional information generated by the connection target information generation module; and a connection target information updating module to update the positional information by using the movement information being generated by the movement information generation module while the wireless communication with the counterpart wireless communication apparatus.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
