Abstract
In a laser beam welding structure for welding two workpieces by emitting a laser beam onto a work portion between the two workpieces, resin members covering the workpieces are provided at the position receiving the reflected laser beam from a surface of a melting portion on the working portion when emitting the laser beam onto the work portion. The resin members are capable of transmission of the reflected laser beam and are employed for the resin member located at the position receiving the reflected laser beam so as to absorb the reflected laser beam from the surface of the melting portion when emitting the laser beam onto the work portion between the two workpieces and to prevent burning of the resin member.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A control apparatus for a vehicle, comprising:
a control module comprised of resin and having a protruding terminal, insulation mold comprised of resin and having a protruding bus bar, in which the terminal and the bus bar overlappingly contact each other at a portion that is welded by emitting a laser beam thereon so as to locate a melting portion of the overlapped contact portion in a zone defined between the control module and the insulation mold, and at least one of the control module resin and the insulation mold resin is selected to be capable of transmitting reflected laser beam and absorbing the reflected laser beam transmitted interiorally thereof by attenuation.
2 . The control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
one of the control module resin and the insulation mold resin is selected to be incapable of transmitting the reflected laser beam from the melting portion, and at least one of the terminal and the bus bar is provided with a step so as not to receive the reflected laser beam reflecting from the melting portion to the control module resin or the insulation mold resin selected to be capable of transmitting the reflected laser beam.
3 . The control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
one of the control module resin and the insulation mold resin is selected to be incapable of transmitting the reflected laser beam from the melting portion, and at least one of the terminal and the bus bar is bent so as not to receive the reflected laser beam reflecting from the melting portion to the control module resin or the insulation mold resin selected to be capable of transmitting the reflected laser beam.
4 . The control apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein
both of the control module resin and the insulation mold resin are selected to be capable of transmitting the reflected laser beam from the melting portion, respectively, and are arranged to receive the reflected laser beam reflecting from the melting portion.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
