Glove for a motorcyclist wearing a helmet with a visor

Abstract

A glove adapted for a motorcyclist who is wearing a helmet with a visor wherein a pouch of cleaning fluid is positioned on the cuff portion of the glove and which is able to supply cleaning fluid to at least one of first and second layers of flexible material positioned on the glove. The first flexible layer is secured to the glove at the juncture of the thumb portion and index finger portion of the glove while the second layer of flexible material is positioned on the glove on the index finger portion so as to partially extend over the palm side portion of the glove and so as to extend partially over the back side portion of the glove.

1 . A glove adapted to be worn on the hand of a motorcyclist wearing a helmet with a visor thereon, comprising;
 a glove cuff portion, a glove thumb portion, glove finger portions including a glove index finger portion, a palm side and a backhand side;   a first layer of flexible material secured to the glove so as to be positioned over the juncture of said glove thumb portion and said glove index finger portion;   a second layer of flexible material secured to said glove so as to be positioned on said glove index finger portion adjacent said glove thumb portion;   a flexible cleaning fluid pouch secured to said glove cuff portion;   and a fluid conduit extending from said pouch to at least the second layer of flexible material for selectively supplying cleaning fluid to said second layer of flexible material to enable the motorcyclist to clean foreign material from the visor of the helmet by moving the glove so as to wipe said first and second layers of flexible material across the visor.   
   
   
       2 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein a normally closed check valve is imposed in said fluid conduit which normally prevents the flow of fluid from said pouch to said second layer of flexible material. 
   
   
       3 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein said layers of flexible material have a roughened outer surface. 
   
   
       4 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein said layers of flexible material are comprised of a moisture absorbent material. 
   
   
       5 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein said glove portions are comprised of a waterproof material. 
   
   
       6 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein said first layer of flexible material partially extends over said palm side and said backhand side. 
   
   
       7 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein said second layer of flexible material partially extends over said backhand side and said palm side. 
   
   
       8 . The glove of  claim 1  wherein said glove cuff portion includes a selectively closeable compartment and wherein said pouch is selectively removable from said closeable compartment. 
   
   
       9 . The glove of  claim 8  wherein said selectively closeable compartment is positioned at said backhand side of said glove cuff portion
