Abstract
Systems and methods of organizing advertisements in a digital home communication terminal are disclosed. One such method comprises displaying a plurality of advertisement categories corresponding to products, services, or combinations thereof. The method further comprises receiving a user selection of one or more advertisement categories, and presenting an advertisement corresponding to the one or more selected advertisement categories.

preventing the presentation of any advertisement not corresponding to the one or more selected advertisement categories.

receiving and storing advertisements that do not correspond to the one or more selected advertisement categories.

receiving and storing only those advertisements that correspond to the one or more selected advertisement categories.
