Abstract
A dumbbell system is provided including a body portion and a handle extending across an opening in the body portion. The dumbbell system is ideal for use in areas where space is limited.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A dumbbell system, comprising:
a base weight member including a ring shaped body and a handle extending across an opening in said ring shaped body, wherein the ring shaped body has an outer periphery surface and an inner periphery surface, the inner periphery surface having angularly disposed edge portions extending radially outward.
2 . The dumbbell system according to claim 1 , wherein the outer periphery surface has angularly disposed edge portions extending radially inward.
3 . The dumbbell system according to claim 1 , wherein edge portions of the inner periphery surface extend angularly outward by at least 7 degrees.
4 . The dumbbell system according to claim 1 , wherein edge portions of the inner periphery surface extend angularly outward by about 20 degrees.
5 . The dumbbell system according to claim 1 , wherein the ring shaped portion has at least a partial rubberized coating.
6 . The dumbbell system according to claim 1 , wherein the ring shaped portion has a substantially uniform cross section about its entire periphery.
7 . A dumbbell system, comprising:
a base weight member including a body portion defining a central opening therethrough and a handle extending across said opening in said body portion wherein the body portion has an outer periphery surface and an inner periphery surface, the inner periphery surface having angularly disposed edge portions extending radially outward.
8 . The dumbbell system according to claim 6 , wherein the outer periphery surface has angularly disposed edge portions extending inward.
9 . The dumbbell system according to claim 6 , wherein edge portions of the inner periphery surface extend angularly outward by at least 7 degrees.
10 . The dumbbell system according to claim 6 , wherein edge portions of the inner periphery surface extend angularly outward by about 20 degrees.
11 . The dumbbell system according to claim 6 , wherein the body portion has at least a partial rubberized coating.
12 . The dumbbell system according to claim, wherein the body portion has a substantially uniform cross section about its entire periphery.
13 . A dumbbell system, comprising a base weight member including a ring shaped body and a handle extending across an opening in said ring shaped body,
wherein the ring shaped body has an outer periphery surface with angularly disposed edge portions extending radially inward and an inner periphery surface, the inner periphery surface having angularly disposed edge portions extending radially outward at an angle of at least 7 degrees, and the ring shaped portion has a substantially uniform cross section about its entire periphery.
14 . The dumbbell system according to claim 13 , wherein edge portions of the inner periphery surface extend angularly outward by about 20 degrees.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
